I spoke to Paul Gray (the original bassist) at a trade show in the mid 2000s. He was sweating miserably behind the mask, and his one piece of advice to me as a fellow metal bassist was "use a gimmick if you have one, but never let it be written into a contract". At that time, they were forbidden from making any official public appearances unmasked.
Can't wait for Knotfest Brazil, Argentina and Chile starting next weekend, also BabyMetal live show for the first time in South America and along with Slipknot, so hype!🥳
Cory also has another band called Stone Sour........think you will like that as well......not as heavy as Slipknot.....more mainstream sound....but very awesome.
To hear Cory rap you need to hear “Spit it Out” to hear him spitting out lyrics, and then the live version of it to see how the crowd reacts! It’s the song that got me started with Slipknot!
You should watch some of their live performances. The Disasterpieces dvd is great and all of their Rock Am Ring and Download festival performances are top notch. 2009 imo is peak Slipknot.
Bizarre that you've not been suggested Stone Sour, it's the singer and lead guitarist of slipknot but in a more rock style. Inhale was the first big song but also listen to Bother.
Psychosocial is definitely the place to start, with duality and this... the rest are alot less mainstream/radio playable, great reaction nonetheless 🤙🏼🤙🏼 When this came out it was mental, it was pretty much us slipknot fans 1st peek of what they looked like, apart from corey and jim as obvs they were in stone sour, but thebrest of them was a pretty big thing, but then we unfortunately got to see all of them, including Craig who is a very private person, when paul died and they done an interview about it
This was kind of a face reveal tease just before the release of their Voliminal inside the 9 dvd where they did unmasked interviews for what i think was the first time. For more Corey rapping listwn to songs from the first album, liberate & no life 🤘🤘
Just saw some of your history video reactions and would like to recommend four videos to react to - 'Know your Ally : Britain', '13 hours that saved Britain' (both of these are WW2 related vids), and also two Commonwealth related vids about the development of the British Empire and another vid related to CANZUK
If you like the "I" crowd chant style, check out Pulse of the Maggots by them. No official video but crazy good song with lyrics that hit so close today.
If you think the 3 you have listened to are overly heavy, just wait until you discover the Self Titled/Iowa era I await your reactions to People = Shit and Disasterpiece.
Cool you can now do the Early 2000s i wish yall went that far back. slipknot from 2000-2002 dynamo open air Gods of metal 2000 Ozzfest 2001 London England 2002 accept people=shit disasterpeice.
This is def my fav from them, followed pretty closely by Duality. This song slaps! Did you notice the guy doing circular hair twirls while turning in a circle? He was in the background the whole song and I never saw him for quite a while before someone in a comment section pointed him out. Now, he's all I'm looking for. 🤣🤣
Hi guys from Europe,Greece. If you want you can listen to something different, a great voice even today with a long course in the song. 😀 Vasiliki Papathanasiou was born in island of Corfu.(23 August 1949), generally known as Vicky Leandros is a famous Greek singer living in Germany. In 1967, she achieved worldwide fame after gaining fourth place for the country of Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "L'amour est bleu", which became a worldwide hit. She further established her career by winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972 with the song "Après Toi", again representing Luxembourg. 💯 Dozens of records in English, French, German, Dutch, Japanese, Italian, Spanish and Greek followed. In 1986 she retired to raise her three children, until her return in 1995 to Germany and Central Europe. The total sales of her records exceed 100 million worldwide.👉ua-cam.com/video/XtaRGdIsvy0/v-deo.html

Hindsight can be 20/20, but it's for nought if you're foresight is blurred.
Sadly we all have to learn from other people's regrets.

Man in the Mirror Live . Grammys 1988 or Bucharest 1992 are so good
Before I Forget is the B side to the Duality single 45 record in my jukebox

Bother (acoustic) is really good!! You can really hear his Irish accent on it.
