The thing about Metal and any sub-genre is: Yeh you may not like it the first time, but the more you listen to it, it's starts growing on you. You start to appreciate how much work is put into it! High voices in pop music like Ariana Grande, will never match Floor Jansen, Simone Simmons, Tarja and so many more females of Metal! Than you have your extreme vocal breaking artists: Tatianna Schmayluk, Angela etc! They deserve soooo much musical respect!
Thats why big companys pay for radio spots, shove that down peoples throats till they get used to the sounds.

I miss the original 9. Joey was and is my favorite drummer and Paul, to me, was the heart and soul of Slipknot. Love those dudes. RIP🙏

Got to see Slipknot with Killswitch Engage last year and brought two friends who are not metal fans and they absolutely loved it! Such an awesome show. Been a fan of them since 1998! 🤘🏽🤘🏽

I never knew since Sid (DJ) was visiting house of mask that his robot mask was actually supposed to be Optimus Prime, but it does not fit the other mask on the allbum and the helmet was way to big for the performance he always did on concerts, so he used the helm part actually for his DJ gigs :D
For real, Slipknot concerts are crazy fun!

Slipknot is so epic and will probably be a bid into the Rock n Roll HOF. Even tho Corey Taylor said he would probably deny the invite. They deserve all of it. They've been prolific for over 20 yrs.

I started with the self titled album. Saw them in Zagreb, Croatia, in 2009. It was fkn unbelievable! Anyway, the melodic part of this song gives me the goosebumps, but especially Shawn's headbanging, the guy's a fkn monster! 😁👊💪Greetings from Croatia

I like to think this song is about one’s personal objection to modern society and people who influence each other so easily and as those walls close in on you, you finally break and are reborn into something greater than yourself, kind of like being woke
