Right! The way the tempo drops going into the chorus is such a smooth transition, then it picks back up and throw in some minor chords in an “Emmure” type style. And the tremolo picking on the bridge. Absolute genius, VOM never lets me down. On a lighter note, I’d love to see a video of Dan doing a cover of Demolished by Slaughter To Prevail. That’d be perfect in these rough times. 🤘🏽

The breakdown after the first chorus sounds like a slower version of Fracture. I love when motifs and themes bleed over from album to album.

Veil of Maya fan here since 06. This is one of the best songs you guys have ever written. Incredible lyrics, they really hit home for me. And that breakdown has the coolest dissonant notes i've ever heard. Additionally, the chorus is insanely catchy. KEEP following this formula please!

It's been over 2 years. This still smashes. The fucking vocals... The cleans are insane, the harsh vocals are insane. The drums are absolutely CRAZY!!! Like bruh that run at 2:32 is NUTS. And then that fucking GUITAR. Those riffs are the NASTIEST, DIRTIEST, GROOVIEST things ive ever heard in my entire life. Just LISTEN to the riff at 1:26 like what the fUCK. And that chorus is absolutely MASSIVE. I don't think this one will ever get old. Absolutely love this song.

I've read that Marc has been experiencing some kind of writer's block. He is affected by this quarantine period. He gets his inspiration from going out and interacting with people. These are hard times for musicians, i hope he will find his strenght.
