saddest thing ever was a reddit thread on unpopular opinions where a guy posted saying that any time he showed emotions to a girl she reacted badly. it was full of literally *hundreds* of replies from guys saying that after they showed weakness in front of a wife/gf they inevitably either had it used against them in an argument, or they girl left, or cheated on them
The worst really is the wrong advertisment that parents, teachers & girls encourage you to cry/be sensitive.
Just tell us how it really is (or in case of girls what u really want) and not some pc bullshit that will hurt us in the long run. Life is tough anyway but they make it worse by wanting to make it better smh
They want you to be sensitive and vulnerable while looking like Ryan Gosling, after having a rough, hardened exterior that they are able to break through. Other than that, yeah, it always goes south.
Breathe. Go excercise. Set time for you and your thoughts. Reflect on your situation and emotions. Be honest to yourself about your needs and communicate things that need to be adressed with those around you. If people can't respect your needs, good riddance, they are pulling you down. Keep moving. Keep breathing.
Love Ryan telling that guys story and him just going Yeah.😂
He was trying to "yeah" his way through the interview but that's when Ryan kicks it up a notch
That first woman contradicts herself thrice in less than half a minute. Impressive!
"Those are my principles; if you don't like them, I have others" Groucho Marx
So a random human on the street gives a standard "nice" answer, and now she's being judged a hypocrite because Ryan's line of questioning caused her to clarify her stance.
@@MoonJung82a random human? Who calls people “humans”? People who don’t understand that you can clarify your position without contradicting it?
Anyone with a video camera can make random people on the street look dumb, and then pick the funniest examples to show on youtube. I didn't think this needed a full explanation.
@@MoonJung82 yeah, sure, pretend like people like this are not common. Most ppl don't think twice about their beliefs. It's not about malicious editing, it's really just shallow thinking
Nothing gets you friendzoned faster than showing a girl your "emotional" side.

@@flippaton More often then not when VV@m3n cry is in order to emotionally manipulate you, so for me if their not crying over the death of their father or something of a like their trying to manipulate you.
There’s a difference between being emotional and being a crybaby man child
I cried in front of my EX for the first time and she dumped me LITERALLY the next day.
I use to think you were wrong, boy I was off lol. Once you’ve been together for a while you can be a little sensitive but do your best to be strong
I cried when that girl got caught in her own hypocrisy 😭
I cried when people wouldn’t try Ryan’s “Magic Spoon Cereal”. He’s being so nice.
Saw Drew Gooden taste them, and I hope they improved their recipe is all I'm sayin'...
I cried when I had to puke from tasting some bowl of shit,....that wasn't magical,..... Well,.....on second thought,..... It did make my appetite disappear for 2 days,....
I don't want to make Ryan cry, but the last thing I'd try from the random person on the street is his probably-drug-laced cereal with the spoon he has already used.
2 things:
- That "UPS" guy is funny.
- Girls dont like emotional men. In a previous video of Ryan, a girl didnt like dating girls because they were "too emotional".
If you are a man you can pretty much do the opposite of what women will typically advise you to do when they give dating advice.
@@orkwc3 yeah, kinda like how they say you need to ask permission before you do anything sexual but sex never ever works like that.
@Jake I think everyone needs to start taking some communication classes
@Rocket Um...
I hope really you're joking, because that borders at the fringe of being kind of rapey.
I once watched a video of a bi woman saying that she tried to date women and it just made her straight because she didn't like what they were putting her through.
Those damn UPS drivers stealing all the ladies!! I’m about to cry….
Women want guys that can deliver a package. Same as its always been.
"They're looking for some manly man...looking for some firefighter or something."
"Yeah, or maybe like a UPS worker."
Give this guy a medal cuz he is truly for the boys. You can tell he sees all Males as High Value and doesn't discriminate.
There is a UPS worker in my town who basically runs with every delivery. He works his ass off. Honestly, though, his wife is a lucky woman.
Cried in front of a girl I was dating when I Iiterally watched my grandma die just days before. Was watching a movie that took place in the 40s and a major scene had a song that was one of her and my dead grandpa's favorite songs. Next day she told me she wasn't into us anymore and that was that. Gotta love when the ONE time I let myself be vulnerable, it worked 100% against me. Don't believe it when women say they want a dude who can show their sensitive side. They're all lying.
My husband has cried once during a fight between the 2 of us (this was before we were married) multiple times after my cat died (not sure if it was for my cat or because he hated seeing me so upset) and tears up at many different songs he finds nostalgic. I think he also cried when our son was born... still happily married to him. The trick is to not get with awful bitches.
@@bluemark25 How many of you exist though? And to be honest, I’m not sure it’s limited to just bitches. Seems like it’s just a passive “belief” women have/feel. Perhaps innate, perhaps influenced by culture (I don’t know what it’s like in other countries to be fair). Just look at all those “woman beats up boyfriend on the street” videos. If the dude is the aggressor, everyone jumps in. If the woman is the aggressor, they don’t just turn a blind eye to avoid conflict, they’ll both watch _and_ laugh at him. Because they think he _deserves_ it for being a “weak man” (even though any self defence, even through words, would be taken as hostility). Women being compassionate to men seem to be in the minority, not the majority. And the majority includes a lot more than just bitches.
@@bluemark25 Yup! I agree.
Not only that but after I dated/married a string of abusive men. I didn’t conclude all men are abusive. I concluded that I really needed to dig deep into MY psyche to understand why I ALLOWED myself to be attracted to and reeled in by abusers. Now I’m happily married to a wonderful man, a very manly man, who is also in touch with his emotions and expresses them like any other healthy human
When I feel sad I just avoid women. Makes feel better when I don't have the original sinners bringing me down further than I already am.
Turns out there are bad reasons to cry
"We like guys that are emotional, but a mans man, that also knows his way around the house while also listening to me complain about my coworkers for the 100000th time annnnnd also wanting to hang around my family, while still satisfying me sexually, but maybe not too much, but not looking at other girls too ya know? One that cries, but only for the right reasons that I say are right" - every entitled female who has been taught the world revolves around them
Bro the thing about the coworkers god. Isn't there things other than work to talk about lmao.
@@OtherDalfite That would require a personality… or interests. Those types of women’s interests are just gossip. It’s why so many women love soap operas despite not really having a story. Also explains why so many backstab their “friends”. It creates drama.
Don't forget is also a bank, taxi driver, bodyguard and comedian (who tells the 'right' jokes ofc not yucky jokes that confuse me)
'there's no bad reason to cry' then they proceed to mock him for every single reason he says he cried. The perfect embodiment of what the left is like today they just say whatever they think they're supposed to say regardless of how they actually feel
Because it's not the Left. It's just the people who jump on bandwagons and don't really think for themselves. They'd still be calling themselves members of the right if they thought that was conducive to their goals.
Can we be hones and instead of saying '' the left '' we can say VV@m3n, they say these things because it gives them moral superiority over you they don't really mean anything they say, shallow ponds reveals a murky and disgusting interior.
@@TaddiestMason you're probably right but it seems like the left has a great strategy of appealing to these type of people who don't look into anything and just go along with what they think they're supposed to be doing. It feels like they have the cultural upper hand as being the default position for any normies to take
I respect the right more because they actually stick to their guns. Not flip flop on every argument with verbal gymnastics.
What everyone seems to be missing about the first interaction is that two of his three examples are precisely the things some girls cry about on the reg.
heard from several women that hey just cry on sundays for no reason because idk its sunday. Or when things dont go the way they would have liked. But then again you cant say that girls are more emotional than men because thats clearly wrong obviously
This is perfect, that girl and her friends said a man can cry for any reason, then a minute later she gives Ryan a weird look when he gives 3 examples of a man crying.
The double standards and hypocrisy is showing.
You cant be serious. Ryan was giving examples of situations that no well-adjusted person would ever cry over.
@@-scorpionox- Those are circumstances in which I would be unsurprised if a girl cried though?
@@-scorpionox- Sometimes you have a hard day and then the f*cking cranberry juice spills man and it's just too much man
The fucked up thing is that just last week my sister in law cried because she got the wrong food order and nobody batted an eye.
I think it might be going a little overboard to say that men should never cry. I cried when my dog died. I cried when my girlfriend left me, and I cried when my aunt committed suicide. Fellas, it's okay to cry. It is NOT okay to let the emotions you have about life just fester in the pit of your being without truly confronting them. Therapy is always an option if you are really struggling in life and it can help you become more stable and confident in yourself. The approval of women will mean absolutely nothing if you don't have approval from yourself on how you are living your life. I know the political climate shits all over men for all these ludicrous reasons, but don't give up hope fellas. Change in the world begins with change in the soul 🙏
It's never been a norm that "men should never cry." What's always been (and always will be, in a society functioning remotely sanely) is that people, usually men, should have the self-possession to never go to pieces. They should have mastery over themselves. They need this, everyone needs this, because the most common situations that are emotionally trying, people are counting on one another, and panic spreads quickly and easily. People (again, usually men) are expected to set aside the acute trauma of crisis, sadness, and tragedy, and stow it to deal with at an appropriate time, a time when it doesn't knock you out of the fight right when others need you most.
See the issue is men are not allowed to cry unless someone literally died. Where women can cry because she had a good dream. And we are supposed to pretend there isn't a screwed up double standard. Fuck that noise. If they want to be fat sexist pigs let them.
Man, that sanitation comment clearly caught you off guard, but you held it together Ryan. Classic
I cried during Ryan's last stand-up - laughing my ass off about short girlfriends.
That one guy is so comfortable with letting Ryan tell his entire story
That last guy who was trying to lift you up rules, for the boys 100%
My GF asked me why I was crying, so I decided, for once, to be open about my inner turmoil and told her that my favourite Only Fans butt model had decided to retire.
She didn't actually say anything, but I could tell by the look in her eye, she didn't see me quite the same way.
My advice would be to shed your tears in private cuz women aren't as understanding as they pretend to be.
She was confused, she couldn't tell whether u were being a Chad or a crybaby.
As someone who used to be extremely emotional when I was younger, the weird shaming around men keeping their emotions in check has always annoyed me.
Mainly because the same people who told me to toughen up have now pivoted from that to this.
they want you emotional because it makes you easier to control, not because its appealing to them.
There's nothing wrong with crying after you've produced a 1lb shit slurry from you ass while on the toilet after eating ghost pepper wings. What's the problem?
No crying bro. When I'm feeling lonely, sad as i can be, all by myself, an uncharted island in an endless sea, what makes me happy and fills me up with glee are those bones in my jaw that don't have a flaw. #MyShinyTeethandMe

Yay! Another interview finally! This is what I’m subbed for
LOL "yeah women love men who work in sanitation" -- this HAS to be staged
Nothing makes the ladies swarm like the smell of garbage juice on a sunny morning.
Like Gavin Mcinnis says. There was some guy who wrote a hit song about how he told the love of his life all of his "silly little thoughts and dreams" and basically spilled his guts to her because he loved her so much.
A year after that song came out, that guys wife divorced him. I want to say that Gavin was talking about the Smiths but It's been a few weeks since I saw the clip so I'm not sure. But yeah, what women SAY they want isn't really what they want. Women don't know what they want until it's in front of them. Their imaginations don't match reality.
Honestly surprised that this isn't common knowledge. I'm a woman, and while I don't really get the vulnerable/ crying being a turnoff thing (unless it's all the time, or part of some larger problem, or something,) a man being soppy like that about me is a huge, _instant_ turnoff because it makes me respect him less. It's just embarrassing and cringe and bordering on simpy.
It shouldn't be like this, but there's also an element of so freely admiting the power the woman has over him, while being clueless that he's doing so. The sort of man who tells a woman how his world revolves around her is something I associate with men who would stay with women who treat them terribly or take them for granted. No matter how long I've been with someone, I want to think like they'd have the self respect to walk out if I behaved poorly toward them. That they're never fully "conquered."
Those big romantic gestures in the movies can just feel like the man's throwing himself at the feet of the woman, which is just not an attractive place to be. And to do it so publicly, proclaiming it to the world in some twee song? Yeah, no.
Can't imagine it was The Smiths, though. I don't think Morrissey's layer of irony would allow that. Nor do I imagine he's ever been in a relationship with a woman.
I love the interview technique where you answer the question and they just confirm what you already know.
Truly remarkable.
It's like the girl who wants a man with a good job and then she complains that you're always working
fuck yeah, magic spoon
