Love the sounds and the lack of music so much better wit no music and hearing what you are doing and planning. Thanks for a great video, way cool boat!
I'm glad you did. I clicked on the video then realized, Holy Crap, this 48 minutes long! Marty, It wasn't long enough to cover what you accomplished with this build. Congrats!
Isn't there a rule that every boat in FL has to have too many motors to emphasize how saltstrong you are? :) This was awesome and your craftsmanship is impressive. Having the skills and vision to execute stupid, ridiculous, fun ideas like this is foundation of innovation and sometimes trips to the ER for those of us that are less skilled. It's not often that you read thru a comments section where there is this much agreement and respect. As I read, i noticed everyone mentioned something that I was thinking or wanted to congratulate for so I wont repeat what's been said. Thank you for the inspiration. Install a working 15HP and a dummy 15 HP on either side of it just to keep it ridiculous. Now, I think I'll try to install a trolling motor on my trolling motor.
Watched the whole video and, though I would never attempt such a project, really appreciate the dedication and inventiveness obviously required to accomplish what you did.
Just found this channel, absolutely love it. Deep respect for the adaptability and creativity involved in hopping up lesser things to become greater. Good on you, will be watching.

majormegapix ....that’s exactly why the guy does what he does, to get all these nice comments about how smart he is. You folks have gotta be kidding me. I guess this is a prime example of what young people today think is normal and prudent.
I have to say you definitely have passion for what you're building and I love it fr I love building things people tell me I can't do I don't care what it might look like all that matters is it does exactly what I need it to do and seeing the look on there faces that said it won't or can't work is always priceless to me when I show them it can and will if you just don't quit or give up.
Such an inspiring video of ingenuity, I loved how you worked through all your obstacles and over came them all. Worst part of this video is it now going to make me come up with some new challenges in my life :) Great video work also, love all the different angles, not many understand how much time it took just in video camera set up! Well done!
When I was a kid dad had a 12 foot aluminum boat with a 4 horse Evinrude and it went pretty fast with just him and I I thought. A friend of his had a 9.9 Evinrude that he had just hanging around in his garage with no boat. He only used it for his big boat on lakes that were less than 10 hp allowed. He let my dad borrow it one weekend and that 12 aluminum boat skipped across the lake unbelievably fast. I can only imagine how much faster yours would have gone with 3 of those! It was a fun fishing trip!
Could not stop watching! Love the creativity and learned alot about modifying boats. Got some great ideas. Wont be able to accomplish anything like that but just wow!
To hell with practicality. He ain't kidding the throttle linkage deserves it's own video. I took notes. Seriously the primary subject of this project is THROTTLE LINKAGE. The boat is incidental.
I grew up in Miami putting me close to home built boats and buggies of dozens of different shapes and sizes. I must say watching your thought process and then building it,putting it in the water and operating successfully was brilliant. You're truly awesome 👌. Thanks for the time and trouble you went to for your viewers. You're right about the 115 HP. I'd love to see that. #1 Airboat Man

If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. This guy is living proof of that statement.
Love the sounds and the lack of music so much better wit no music and hearing what you are doing and planning. Thanks for a great video, way cool boat!
Poor mans? This guy seems rich with ingenuity and creativity to me!
Because I can. That's why.
Please do! You are the best 😁
zoffinger this was hilarious dude i love this lol
That's the most ridiculous thing I've seen this week.
I'm glad you did.
I clicked on the video then realized, Holy Crap, this 48 minutes long! Marty, It wasn't long enough to cover what you accomplished with this build. Congrats!
Hey Marty, if you rent me that one, I'll buy a ticket right now! Fire up the bbq bro!
This is AWESOME! Definitely my favorite build to date. Your attention to all the little details is amazing
@Doug Mooney ha ha ha ....I guess that's why you have 3 subscribers......you are not a nice person.
MARTYS BACK!
And dang, what a cool idea.
Always inspiring, thanks Marty
Watched the whole video and, though I would never attempt such a project, really appreciate the dedication and inventiveness obviously required to accomplish what you did.
This was both awesome and incredible to watch to see something come from just a hull to what it is now was awesome!
Just found this channel, absolutely love it. Deep respect for the adaptability and creativity involved in hopping up lesser things to become greater. Good on you, will be watching.
I just wanted to say that the truck driver backed in beautifully!
Jon R. Were you the truck driver?
I also got caught up admiring that back up job
He missed the first attempt. Had to do a pull up.
Took him five attempts...
@@Dukemoney63 its a semi truck
I think that's gonna be one of the coolest builds I've seen
Yup! I just watched from beginning to end! That was so therapeutic. Everything was so well thought out and the Pelican is a beautiful vessel! 🏁👍🏽 Congrats man!
you are an inspiration. It is high time I got back to my wooden boat build that has been years in the making and was going to be a sailing vessel but now an electric duel minn kota. craft as My wife and I just bought a cottage on the Erie canal in upstate NY. Boat speed is 10 miles per hour max but I will use all of it for the build. Thanks and the plastic bits look fantastic.
So cool My Father and I do shit like this when I was a kid. I miss that.
Dick Tejano Dad you finally found me 🤩 lol I did it with a jet boat 4 horsepower four stroke long shaft
"Directions?"
"I don't need directions!"
😃😂😅😉
lol
Dude! I really love your spirit! You just showed us something I would have done myself if I had access to a shop and the materials you have. You are blessed to have the ways, means, and mind to live life on your terms. May God continue to bless your efforts!
This video is my first introduction to your channel and having worked in the boating industry 40 years I thoroughly enjoyed it
"Because I can. That's why" Says it all. I just watch you in awe not just for coming up with this (these) ideas but your incredible DYI skills to build them. The "thumb downers" just don't get it. Seriously cool what you did!
majormegapix ....that’s exactly why the guy does what he does, to get all these nice comments about how smart he is. You folks have gotta be kidding me. I guess this is a prime example of what young people today think is normal and prudent.
AND he's got pretty good DIY skills too!

Right you are. Mixed up my acronyms I did!
Sweet thanks for sharing. It's soooo satisfying when you finally get to see your projects come to reality. Great work
This made me smile! ...correction .. Makes me smile! Nonstop! Dude keep following your heart!!! You are inspiring!
Absolutely amazing. Probably the best 50 mins of my life.
ALB Spotter u should try drugs
William Brasky im on drugs and this is still probably the best 50 min of my life
You really need to get out more.!
All three motors running together sounds mean!
especially to fish!
Awsome video brother.. A buddy shared this with me and I never dreamed I would watch all 48 minutes but.. Boy was I wrong!
you did a Badass job!
Could not have said it any better.
Could not stop watching! Love the creativity and learned alot about modifying boats. Got some great ideas. Wont be able to accomplish anything like that but just wow!
Change out the props for a higher pitch ones, you’ve got 3 motors on the back so the acceleration loss shouldn’t be a concern
I was thinking the same thing. He could easily go up an inch or two in pitch.
Put that lost torque to use on high end.
I was going to post the same thing, go to higher pitch props!
No the concern is engine RPM the prop is the engine governor....
killing old growth since 1977 not too sure what you mean
I'm impressed. That's the kind of boat you cut in half and have two boats. Great job
To hell with practicality. He ain't kidding the throttle linkage deserves it's own video. I took notes. Seriously the primary subject of this project is THROTTLE LINKAGE. The boat is incidental.
The best part of this is that their is no music
there*
Im at 47:07 and i hear some
defo music
so true!
Still an amazing ass video you cant lie...
Pretty cool man. Looks like she scoots. Nice job, keep on keeping on.
I grew up in Miami putting me close to home built boats and buggies of dozens of different shapes and sizes. I must say
watching your thought process and then building it,putting it in the water and operating successfully was brilliant. You're truly awesome 👌. Thanks for the time and trouble you went to for your viewers. You're right about the 115 HP. I'd love to see that. #1 Airboat Man
I think he means one 15hp as opposed to three 5hp. Not a 115 hp...
Wow that is badass. Looks like you were in the zone and loving every design challenge.Great job.
Love that you follow your heart..it has made a good life and great videos and inspirations for us! 👍👍. God Bless
Artistry taken to the next level! I was mesmerized by the attention to detail! Well done!
DANG! My husband bought an Intruder... He is watching this. Won't see him for a week now lol. Great mod video.
the best thing about this build is how many motors he used so cool I want one hehe
Is it just me or is it super satisfying when he drills and installs stuff in time lapse
one of the most interesting videos i have seen for a long time. WELL DONE
Awesome, you got me as a new subscriber 👍❤️, all the way from the land down under.
