I installed this kit on my Sur-Ron X Black with their BAC4000 and heatsink. There are a few bike harness configurations that work but you may need to modify your harness slightly. I had to modify my harness but didn’t need a firmware update. GLE support is fantastic and very responsive. They got me going after a few emails. This thing is amazing. Smooth. No glitches. Customizable torque ramp is essential after using it… I was hesitant to spend the bucks on the heatsink kit. But it is engineered well and makes installing the BAC4000 way better than factory and easier to install as well. The stock Sur-Ron controller setup was glitchy and felt a little rough. You deal with it without too many issues. But after installing this kit, my bike is so smooth and tight. The increase in performance and speed, ability to set a street mode and the ease of tuning is why I bought it. But the new feel and quality of the ride is definitely worth it alone!

Trying to get Customer Support to work with me to resolve, but so far they won't assist until I get everything setup so they can remote in on my GLE Dashboard. Having to purchase an Android device that supports the Apps required before I can get any assistance. The GLE Dashboard looks really good with a lot of tunable parameters based on how and where you are riding. The level of tuning is great. I've tuned some parameters but still not any better. I hope to be able to use the GLE Dashboard one day with a working GLE BAC 4000. This video was very informative and helpful, as are most of the GLE videos I've watched, now if I can just get some customer support to resolve my issue.
I have not used the GLE dashboard in a while, lately I’ve been using the egg rider. Suddenly now that I want to use the dashboard I’m getting no throttle response, but with the egg rider everything works fine. What could this be?
I just tried motor tune ( analyze hall wiring ,offset and rated motor speed) and it jolted and jerked the rear wheel. From the sounds of the motor ( grinding ) and eventually stopped and did not read or tune at all I had thought for sure I ruined the motor. Surron still drives seemingly fine but I can not get through the motor tuning.. I also messaged the gle support because I purchased my bac4000 and bypass from gle. Please help Thank you
Gle messaged me back and told me NEVER TUNE THE MOTOR. That I did not listen and tuned my motor, and now my bike doesn't work. ( bike works fine, just would not tune) I learned from THIS GLE video, so i do not understand how this became my fault 😂
my 8000 came with invalid settings in it. clicking hall test just ended in a lot of motor screaming. After copying all the settings I could see in this video it now works. Just incase anyone else runs into this
Follow up: when you install your GLE BAC, do not run the hall test. It’s already programmed and running the test will jack it up. They had to remote into the system and fix it. They sent me an email a few days later that gave detailed instructions on what to do … that e-mail could have saved me a little headache if it arrived before the parts. Nonetheless, I LOVE the GLE setup. I have 3 different saved files to use …
@@roostnureye that’s the smart thing to do (save the original profile before making ANY adjustments). That way, if it goes on the blink after tinkering, you can always reload the original map. I have 3 profiles saved depending on what I’m doing.
Hello, I just installed a BAC8000 on my talaria sting and was wondering if there is any way to see the odometer for maintenance service intervals. The original gauge had an ODO reader but I can’t find total miles on the GLE dashboard
Can I install this display on a bac4000 that is running a egg rider v2? I would like a bigger display and be able to monitor temps. I ride off road only. I like the display.

i purchased the gle harness and dashboard integration kit, Ive got the app also, im just about to install the harness and everything but i wanted to double check and make sure that it will all work flawlessly with an ASI BAC 8000 , I also have a NXT display running. The installation videos dont show a 72v setup or have any info if an asi bac 8000 will work for it?
you mentioned watching the rpm gauge on sustained speeds, what would i be looking for?, also you have a settings history, looked like your in faults menu, i only have save there?

I purchased the gle harness so I don’t need the bacdoor access?. Which give me a really bad headache. Is it a way to bypass bacdoor? I bought bac4000 to ert. And it’s completely useless without the bacdoor access. Is this the solution to my problem?
@@nomzig you simply need the GLE integration kit sold on our website which also comes with remote support. Once you have our integration kit you will be able to have access to all your settings and make adjustments or simply install our pre-made popular tunes
I've watched this video twice already but am going back to figure out how to tune the speedometer, still haven't fount that part. It's be great if you added chapters to this video so people don't have to watch all 40 minutes, just to get the two minutes of information they need.
Also, where's the telemetry feature? Haven't used my bike in two weeks but just went for a ride and wanted to graph the amps/voltage/etc. I went all thru the menu, 5 times and could never find the telemetry page. Ugggh, I guess I have to watch a 40 minute video, AGAIN, just so I can relocate these features. Do you see why a better organized video (with better audio too) would be helpful?
I have a problem with searching for "e-bike" in the application. I find "e-bike" via bluetooth, but it does not search in the application. The problem occurs on two different phones. Any ideas?
I helped my brother install the BAC 8000 on his Segway x260 but I cant get the app to register. Is there something I'm missing? I added the +1 to my phone number but it says to contact customer support. I emailed but no response yet. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got mine setup, I did not do the hall test and it sends to be running just fine! I saved the profile just in case I need to revert back to it
