What is the diagnosis on the opposite side of the foot? I have all the same symptoms but the target area for pain is not at the arch/heel, but rather the outer foot 🦶⬅️.
I have high arches and got planters fasciitis after walking too far in flat sandals. Finally got over it but it's now coming back and out of nowhere for no apparent reason. It's nothing like it was though, no pain the morning. Wearing Sketchers that has arch and ball of foot support helps. Maybe it's the yoga I'm doing?
This is a wonderful video if you’re trying to figure out about planters fasciitis. My problem is I have high arches, got custom-made orthotics, new shoes recommended by the podiatrist. I have a question. My foot pain hurts exactly where you said it was likely to occur (at 1:58). However, I have no issues stretching my toe all the way backwards. Does this mean my heel pain is NOT plantar fasciitis? I still have the symptoms you describe but I want to make sure I’m not mistaking plantar fasciitis for something else.

I have developed this in both damn feet. I'm 43 and have been in treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for 4 years now. It seems to be related to one of the chemotherapy drugs I was blasted with, several of which are known to cause damage to bones, ligaments and joints. It's really hindering my mobility at this point. It's at its worst in the evenings after I remove my work boots to relax. When I stand, I can barely walk. It sucks when I get out of bed as well. Ughhh. It's never ending what you've got to deal with after an extreme chemotherapy regimen.
Hello Doctors! Very informative video, thanks! I have been suffering with this condition for the past year and it's gotten worse. Could my drastic weight gain(60lbs) be the cause of this pain?
I HAVE PLANTAR FASCITIS VERY BAD IN BOTH FEET. SOME TIMES THE PAIN IS SO BAD I CRY. I GET A LITTLE HELP WHEN I PUT MY FEET IN HOT WATER, AND SOAK FOR ABOUT 20 MINS. OR UNTIL THE WATER GETS COLD. I ALSO USE A ARTHRITIS CREAM ON MY FEET. THAT HELPS A BIT ALSO. MY ARCHES HURT THE WORSE. BUT I NOTICE IF I GO OUT SIDE FOR A LITTLE WALK IT HELPS THE PAIN IN MY FEET.TYLENOL DOES NOT WORK FOR ME. I FEEL BAD FOR ANYONE WHO HAS THIS. THE PAIN CAN BE VERY BAD.
was told it could be caused by calves muscles. place sweeping brush between two chairs and let calves rest on it, also stretch calves as much as possible. suffered a year and just a week into this approach the pain has left my feet for the most part, calves are tender but that's ok by me.
Ask your doctor fore a prescription for Mobic. 15mg once daily completely eliminated my severe pain from PF and Morton's Neuroma. I've since had custom orthotics made and steroid injections, but did nothing initially and 5 days after the Mobic my pain was gone. In fact, I had to stop the medicine before my first appt. with the podiatrist so I could have the pain come back for the exam.

Pain in my heel. I know my weight contributes but I’m on my feet quite often. Stretching and a hot compress has actually helped. I was boiling fruit scraps and ginger pieces. Bagged it, before throwing it out, I thought to use it on the bottom of my feet. Long story short, I used it like you would use an ice pack. I have #2 and #2. My pain is on my left foot. Definitely more noticeable when I get out of bed and shoes help a lot. Left big toe "clicks" more than the others and doesn't seem as flexible. If I just pull my left and right big toes back they seem equal, but not so much when walking. In fact...I think I'm compensating for toe pain on my left foot. I just noticed that today. I believe it's subconscious.
Thank you for this informative video! It helps a lot. I have developed PF on my left foot as well as sesamoiditis in the same one therefore it is hard to pull the toes back. What do you suggest
I've got pain in left foot on outside part of foot and it spreads to being also under the door through the day. Accompanied by swelling in both feet but moreso the left for 2 years.
Had this horrible condition and suffered from it for around 2 years... till one night I switched to sleeping on my tummy and it went away the next morning. I guess it could be the way the arch is bent that solved it... but in a way its the opposite of the stretches recommended by the doctors and physios (which did give me temporary relief but never solved it ). Never looked back ... people who find it difficult breathing when lying on their tummy are not recommended to try this. Cheers.
the big toe theory doesn't work on mine. they both bend back a long way. the sorest bends back the most, but the Achilles and calf is tighter on my sorest foot.
Hi dr. Past 20 days I have tis problem.. Twice a day am giving ice rollin massage with the bottle and stretching exercise.. It is curable r not..?? Kindly suggest me.. Plz
I have a question! Now, all my weight goes onto my heels, and recently (within the past six months) my Achilles right on my ankle has had the sensation of burning. Is that Plantar Fasciitis? The pain is more unbearable in the ankle area, but I've put the weight on my heels since I was about 10.
I have it in both feet!! I'm 21 and it started when I was 19! I got my first job then and for the first five months of working there I didn't have proper shoes. I worked at Starbucks and long hours so all this standing. So since then I've had this pain on and off but the last month or so it's been the worst I've ever had.
Five years ago I started this journey with my left foot. Constant oedema in my ankle and foot. Now it goes up to the knee. I was recently diagnosed with EDS hyper mobility. I have flat feet and now my left foot has a fallen arch. I was also diagnosed with Mortens neuroma. And now I have plantar fasciitis. Is it all to do with the EDSh? I’m going to buy crutches because it hurts so bad. I’m tired of being in pain. I have orthotics - they help but they don’t cure. I do stretching but it’s too much some times and not helping like I hoped. What else can I do?
Same case for me I have unexplained pain through the entire bottom of my foot and I can’t even take walks or walk normally. Did you ever find a solution?
What if both feet, including toes, hurt when you go to stand up in the morning or after sitting for a while, but the pain is all over, not in that particular place on the sole?

Both of my feet are in severe pain. It's the worst when I get up in the morning and take my first few steps or if I've been sitting a long time. The pain extends from my heels to the balls of both feet. Walking does help. Is it normal to have it in both feet with the same severity at the same time? Thank you.

everything that has been mention in the video happened to me except number 3 bending the toe,i suffer only one foot but both toes can bend just fine.
Yeah same
what a cool pair of dudes
What is the diagnosis on the opposite side of the foot? I have all the same symptoms but the target area for pain is not at the arch/heel, but rather the outer foot 🦶⬅️.
Me too! Did you find any amswers? Went to see a podiatrist and they said it was PF ..but the treatments for it dont do anythong for me
Lateral column overload. Different foot injury.
I had a injection of Cortizone three months ago. The planters fasciitis is so bad even with the new shoes and custom orthotics. It is also causing me to have IT and hip bursa pain.
I am going through this right now
I have a question.
Hi, this is 2y later, but no. You can still stretch your toes like that if you have hyperflexibel tendons.
I’m 35 years old and just started skating again. My pushing foot burns!!! I’ve been trying not to go as hard when go out but I do want to work out the muscle, also been stretching it and using frozen water waters to roll my foot on
I've got this from working/walking on un even surfaces for 3 months, I've had a sore right foot mainly in my heel for nearly 6 months still
This is the second time youve both helped me! Tysm!
Im a waitress and I think that this is what I’m going through 😭 I just got sent home because I can hardly walk on my right foot, it hurts so damn bad 😭
I hope you’re doing better now! :(
I have developed this in both damn feet.
Could my drastic weight gain(60lbs) be the cause of this pain?
physicaltherapyvideo , Ok. I understand. I'll check out these videos. Thank you for the feedback!!
What kind of insole can I buy to help alleviate the discomfort and to cushion my foot.

In fact, I had to stop the medicine before my first appt. with the podiatrist so I could have the pain come back for the exam.
alice donatelli hey there! I know how bad it pains I have had it too. My fasciitis pained like hell for 9 long months. But trust me it's going to get better with time. All your foot needs is some rest some medication and hell lot of time to repair itself. I hope things improve for you!
alice donatelli roll your foot on a can like a soup can it works for me (temporarily sadly)
came for my feet, stayed for the banter haha. idk what it is but i like these guys
Currently trying to stop pain from concert today.. this is matching everything I have gone through with my feet since I was about 9.
9? Omg 🙏🏾
Chiropractor fixed it in two visits. Had it for almost a year. Commenting this on all videos. Because I would spend hours watching UA-cam videos to try to figure out how to fix it.
Thank you
@@SS-zl3ox try the seiza stretch aswell
if you have plantar fasciitis, relaxe is your best bet
What if you have work and other things that need you to stand
Very helpful video , I have been suffering from heel pain from childhood but not able to diagnose what is causing the pain . We got x-ray done there is no spur .
Mine isn't by the heel its right in the middle of my foot.
Pansy Flower same
Me, too
hi everyone ,if anyone else is searching for treatment of plantar fasciitis try Corbandy Feet Pain Crusher (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.
Mine is in heel horribly and middle of my foot kinda
I have a small bump in the middle of my arch too, and I believe that is plantar fibroma.
Oooh God I'm 28years my pain is exactly too much pain..the way you touched...
My pain is on the outside near the heal (on the side of the small toe)
It only hurts when i put weight on it such as walking and has been painful for 2 days now after a 15km jog, causing me to limp slightly. Is this what my pain is?
i have the same pain also, just in the middle outside of my heel and pinky toe
@@yhk1972 mine has gone now, it probably would of gone earlier but i was trying a jog once every two days when i should of rested.
Stretching and ice helped, it took abour 2 weeks altogether, but probably would of took less time if i would of rested.
@@simonwain1473 this is what im doing now sir, a numbmess strange pain outside under my wee toe onto the hoof lol, i had it from running distance one day, nd ran every 2nd day since hoping it would go away but still hasn't, so going to do static training now and hold off running for week or 2 lol
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your sstripey shirt! Black and white?
Nice demonstration! Cute!
Thanks!!
It's the whole heal/foot for me I can't put weight on my heal at all!!! I'm on crutches
Me too have u got any tips?
Heard olive oil and garlic might do it. I'll try anything.
It feels as if a nail has gone straight through my foot, very painful. I am praying for a speedy recovery as my career is physically demanding.
About 15min in total, compression sleeve around my foot and ankle through the night. This morning I want to go run simply because I’m free of that excruciating pain🥹. It’s not completely gone but I figure repetition will fix this issue.
I’ve been watching you all for years. Every tactic helps, even for me at 6ft9. Thank you
Running, or jumping, or dancing, or ballerina. Lol well luckily I’m a ballet dancer so jumping, dancing, and ballerina! 😂 I used to run too
My pain is on my right foot, on the bottom right side of the foot my heels and toes don't hurt at least not yet , but the pain I do feel makes it's hard to put pressure and walk. The pain does subside for a few days but it does hurt again when I walk alot.
When I get out of bed is the absolute worse. I have a 11 month old that wakes up around five to eat but it ends up with me in extreme pain going to make a bottle
Literally describe everything I am going through on my left foot
I slammed my finger in a door now I don't think about my foot pain.
Excellent Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you thought about - Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good exclusive guide for Relieving foot pain minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.
😂
*@Charles Phillips* Here's a great treatment for plantar fasciitis: www.MootFoot. xyz
I have spent months researching into plantar foot treatments and found a great resource at Natural Foot Wizard (check it out on google)

interesting points ,if anyone else trying to find out plantar fasciitis arch try Jadonite Plantar Treatment Buddy ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my friend got amazing results with it.
This is exactly what I have very well described but how do I or what can I do to take away the pain
We have a few videos on that ua-cam.com/play/PL8l32k1r15l5-EIbYLx-HiiypueuVsiMH.html The Bob and Brad Team
And once again our Bob and Brad have provided the info we need! Thanks B&B!
I am so very grateful for all of your advice.... thank you so much
I’ve been doing heavy exercises for a week and my feet are sore and in pain I also have numbness aswell is that normal
This is the only thing I'm *not* suffering from! I love how these videos help exclude things.
Stretching calfs helps it
No plantar fasciitis is about your arch that’s causing pain in your heel
For those who get this, watch their Achilles video.
Brad is the facilitator.
I have it in both feet!! I'm 21 and it started when I was 19! I got my first job then and for the first five months of working there I didn't have proper shoes. I worked at Starbucks and long hours so all this standing. So since then I've had this pain on and off but the last month or so it's been the worst I've ever had.
Me toooooooo.
My left foot hurt when I Ben's my toes down. The pain on top left side of the foot. Would you know what it is?
Thanks again
Really enjoy your video's.
But can you please upgrade the Audio, it's really hard to hear.
relaxe massagers are amazing for plantar fasciitis
@@HexagonFL shock wave treatment on my foot took the pain away. Go see a physiotherapist. I am pain free.
literally did your stretches and massage techniques and i already feel so much better. thank you guys❤️🫡
Does ice baths help with healing for this diagnosis?
What if both feet, including toes, hurt when you go to stand up in the morning or after sitting for a while, but the pain is all over, not in that particular place on the sole?
Thats what i have too!
Me too
@@411mxzzy9 My pain has actually disappeared since I posted my original comment. I have no idea what causes it or what makes it go away, but I'm happy it's gone.
Same mine see on both and making my legs hurt
I have been resting in home since last 28 days, just eating and sleeping and doing usual stuff nothing much, not doing anything to put stress on my planter facia, and pain is almost gone, also socking my feet in hot water for 10-15 minutes this things helps a lot
Both of my feet are in severe pain. It's the worst when I get up in the morning and take my first few steps or if I've been sitting a long time. The pain extends from my heels to the balls of both feet. Walking does help. Is it normal to have it in both feet with the same severity at the same time? Thank you.
Aly Cat me too exactly.
PF generally affects both feet at the same time. Has it improved recently?
Aly Cat I've had the cortisone shot, sleep with the special socks and put on a boot to sleep. What helps me is a TENS machine at night for 10 min. I bought mine at Wal Greens for $35. Hope you feel better.
Dolores Garza What’s a tens machine? Thank you :)
@@doloresgarza8796 Bruh I just take an Advil and some pads under my feet.
