*"Fucking Eikon!"* *"Eikon?! She's not even fully primed!"* I feel like that was an extremely overlooked aspect of Jill as whole. She looks like the weakest Dominant because we barely see her fight and she loses 2 of the 3 fight we see. But if you consider that she was enslaved by the Ironbloods for over 13 years and over half of her body is cursed, she is an absolute _beast._
Even then, her fight with Titan wasn't one-sided. Man had to retreat to lick his wounds. And Barnabas required damn near all of the Eikons for Clive to even have a snowball's chance to match him. Jill was no joke.
nah, SE badly messed up Jill’s character building imo, especially in terms of power level. as a principal supporting character, she should have been even more pivotal than Joshua considering she spends a lot more time fighting alongside Clive. Shiva vs. Titan is fine, it’s basically just an Eikon exhibition like Odin vs. Bahamut. her arc in Drake’s Breath is horribly handled. one, it is personal for her. two, Clive is still unable to control Ifrit. three, the boss is a literal flame manifestation. that is supposed to be her moment as the Eikon of Ice, and guess what? Shiva is reduced to a sideline support. Diamond Dust being used as an fricking icewall, sheesh. SE could have set up a playable Shiva (just like Phoenix) to finish Liquid Flame off and they didn’t. it’s also hard to take Imreann seriously as a villain given his lack of power or abilities. Shiva vs. Barnabas is downright pathetic as he doesn’t even semi-prime to defeat her. it’s hard to sell Shiva as the tide-turner for Clive after such display. had they given us a Shiva vs. Barnabas fight (maybe semi-primed in second phase) and show some Shiva’s special abilities that trouble Barnabas (before a scripted Shiva defeat), THEN it would come full circle when Clive uses Shiva to finally best Barnabas.
@@xurdias More than Joshua? I disagree. The game is clearly centered more around the siblings dynamic (like Fullmetal Alchemist), it’s obvious that Joshua was always designed to be more important.
@@markpiper6382 listen to ff7 or ffx ost. Every song is a banger. However it may be because I played those games growing up so I remember those songs best
@@jeremybrandt5779 I believe Shiva's theme doesnt go as hard, because she barely fights in the game, If we had a Shiva Boss fight they would definitely done a way better extended piece. maybe even two songs.

@@jeremybrandt5779 FFXVI and FFVII have different soundtracks, so it just comes down to personal preference. Nothing wrong with that.
