Just a suggestion as an alternative method for dipping. I have seen another UA-camr using spray paint. They sprayed it into the water, then dipped the items.
I think the colourful items were beautiful which were not sealed, but the shaving foam method on the plates gave hideous results which was a shame. Thankfully you can paint them white and start again if you so want, or you can use the plates under flower pots as water dishes. I love that vase mould you use, it always gives a lovely result with resin or resincrete. Have a lovely weekend Steve!
I learned a lot from your videos in the past. So thank you very much. I do recommend watching someone UA-cam videos about color theory. Have a wonderful weekend! I hope you will get some rest.
Steve I know that you are colour blind but if you use colour theory I think even the marbling that did not seem to work would have come out a little better…but as usual it was an enjoyable video to watch and I learn something new each time ❤
Great to see these other methods, the non-sealed ones look lovely. I've only used alcohol inks to do a tie dye effect which I really liked and 1 year on, the colours are still vivid. Thank you for sharing x
Marabu makes a great marbling product that sticks well to sealed items as well as paper. My grandchildren had fun marbling their hands. 😂 (washed off after 24 hrs)
Great video I have always wanted to try marbling so I brought a kit I have also brought resin crete because of your videos and so far I love it. I do have 1 question I may have missed I in the video but do you have to seal the pieces afterwards. Thank you and thanks for your great videos
Hi Steve! I love your tutorials. Do you know what video it was that you discussed watering down the varnish? Also, do you only water it down on the ecopour/resincrete type of medium? Thank you.
Hi Steve. Pls pls can i get a little advice about curing resin crete. I use JDiction for both the powder and the colours for it, but when i demould my pieces i get really dark patches and really light over the whole thing, why is that? I hope you can help. Thanks x
Thanks Steve this is all new to me, I will be trying it soon. I think you are great and if you were a teacher the kids would love you 🥰 I would use different colours but you are colour blind, sorry I wish you were not.
3 days ago I found myself using, "squidgy widgy" in normal conversation, not craft related. 😂😂
Hahaha. That’s great.
Oh, same!! My 5 yr old grandson collapsed in a fit of giggles! hee heee!
When I see a mold being squeezed to release bubbles it runs thru my mind! LOL and it makes me smile thank you Steve!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes yes! And when I’ve been watching other crafting videos, and they need to get out the bubbles , I tell them out loud ‘give it a squidgy widgey’!
I seal my resin crete with modge podge. I put mica powder in the modge podge it came out so pretty.

@kandipiatkowski8589 i came here to say this. I have uses spray paint and it sticks to even sealed items. Works the best.
Another method is to use nail polish. You can even use it with shaving cream or whipping cream. Have used on Easter eggs and tea cups

You could also use nail polish. Not sure if anyone said this not read all comments but I used to do this on nails ❤️🤗
For GREAT Shaving cream Marbling don't use acrylic paint - use liquid Ink you will love the result. (stamp pad ink refills) .
I like using spray paint for marbling. Has always worked well for me.

Is this even possible...... Lol i like your style ..... In America it starts off "Here, Hold my beer" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🥰
😂😂😂
Love learning all these tips and tricks. Thanks for showing all parts!
Thanks Steve!!
Uugh it's wet and cold here and you've just reminded me I have a tub of dirty cups and molds to clean before I can have any fun 😭
You can also use different colors of nail polish for marbling.
They look like little faces around eyeballs, pretty cool in the bucket of waters
Great to see these other methods, the non-sealed ones look lovely.

Fantastic! So glad you show your triumphs AND the others❤
I actually like the pastel colors of the sealed pieces.
That was a fun and interesting experiment! I love the unsealed hand and sealed heart dish. I also love the unsealed vase.
I’ve used the marabu marbling inks, they even work on metal. No sliding off.
Beautiful
Very good tutorial Steve learnt a lot ta. X
Maybe try dipping the mold instead. It works with resin. Haven't tried to see if the resin crete will pull it off the mold. Don't know till we try.

I've used the shaving foam method on my cross stitch fabric, using foam and food colouring .... wonder if food colouring would work on the resincrete?
I love that hand too Steve it is so cute❤

Can you use acrylic paint and mix them with coconut oil and use them for marbling in water?
Those were definitely interesting techniques. I honestly think the shaving cream one is a waste. Just my 1 cent.

Good Day Steve, is this an old product known as ‘plaster of Paris’ and renamed as resin powder?
Don't scrape the shaving foam. Let it dry overnight then rinse the next day.
🙌
Hi Steve, Do you Still Rate the DiPoxy Resin ?? It is Cheap and I Wonder if it has lasted the test of Time ??
❤❤❤
What a mess lol lol just like I do 😊
👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻😊
Thanks Steve this is all new to me, I will be trying it soon. I think you are great and if you were a teacher the kids would love you 🥰 I would use different colours but you are colour blind, sorry I wish you were not.
Do you really need that much water?
Can you use clear coating epoxy resin for molds like resin jars????
Great expiranent
😢😢😢
I didnt like the result - lots of colours does not always play together. Im into scandinavian style.
Amazing
