Is anyone kindve anxious? Like, for years...YEARS, is always told myself when things get bad, to keep going. You gotta make it to hear the new Tool album. Any amount of suffering is worth getting there. Now that we stand on that precipice of greatness...it almost hurts to look beyond it. What “Great Big” is there left to look forward to? I think we can all safely assume this is final fanfare. It’s so bittersweet...
Not gonna lie, part of me is gonna miss this old familiar live tune accompanied with articles or excerpts about the new album throughout the month...we made it guys! Thank you tool archive! I’ve been following your channel since high school and now here we are years down the line...it Feels good. i took a vacation day this Aug 30th and so did my best friend. Both been listeing to tool back in our high school days in the early 90s, now were in our 40s, im shooting to his house this thurdays night and buying the album at midnight at walmart and then have all day friday to listen and drink with my buddy. Makes me feel like im back in high school, cant wait. This will be one of the greater weekends i have had in a long time. Love all of you tool fans!
Same! I took Friday off. I pre-ordered the digital copy, as well as the limited edition CD from Amazon, which will be on my porch Friday. I was 29 when I first started listening to them. I’m 55 now, and am every bit as excited as I was when I first heard them. 13 years of waiting is almost over, and it will have been worth every minute.

It's funny seeing all these new reaction vids on YT with people who never listened to Tool before, all the records Tool are breaking with the digital thing, they deserve all this recognition. I almost felt like their music was being missed by a whole generation, and by waiting like they did to release on the digital streaming platforms they get new listeners to hear their whole discography and a new album all pretty much at once, great strategy IMO. Fear Inoculum, the single, is actually better than I expected, with all the hype after such a wait, I was pretty sure it could not possibly live up to it, but the song did and then some, and I can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
