My brother introduced me to Tool many years ago. He died last October, and every time I hear anything from Tool it brings back good memories of my little brother Rick. Good times were had.

Went to my 9th TOOL show last year. Had the pleasure of meeting and hanging with Maynard in 2002 after my first TOOL show. Their music is my therapy. Eternally grateful ❤

42 now been a tool and apc fan since the beginning of both. I’m a late bloomer to Puscifer but honestly it’s been more of an experience getting into their catalog. Easily Maynard holds my 3 top fav bands of all time.

I discovered Tool through an, A Perfect Circle, concert and was floored within 10 seconds of them playing Judith... Since that faithful day Aug..6, 2000. I have been hooked on Maynard James...
Everything is so tight. Their musicianship is second to noone. They are all unbelievable individually at their particular craft. Then when put together as a whole they exceed the sum of their parts.

I'm 58, Steven. I *love* this band. Saw them in Louisville back in May. I don't believe I have ever heard a band sound so good at a concert. (and I have been to *a lot* of concerts since 1977) I hope they release their stuff on streaming sites. I want to get Salival so bad! Great tunes on that CD/DVD. I've been listening to TOOL for about 4 years now and i never get tired of them, but Salival is totally new to me and hearing this for the first time is nostalgic.
It's like listening to Rosetta Stoned, Disposition-Reflection-Triad, Wings pt. 1 & 2 and Intension for the first time for me.
I wish i could go back and feel the chills all over again when listening to TOOL.
Many songs can make you feel nice, make you groove, make you feel epic or sad. But only TOOL has managed to make me get chills from their music.

It’s incredible how many of their tunes though mind blowingly heavy or breathtakingly out of time/in time (due to Danny’s impeccable drumming) continuously brings tears to mine eyes.... broke my hand at my first Undertow experience at Varsity Arena in Toronto in ‘94, been a pleasure to not look back since. 👊🏽 props sir

I think this song makes a powerful, profound and yet very simple statement that could and does apply to anyone! The riffs and rhythm highlight the sadness and pain of betrayal, where as the lyrics bring forth resonance and the end is a bold release of anger!...which most of us experience from being lied to in one form or another

Listening to Tool here on the AZ portion of the Navajo Nation helps cope with the boredom and loneliness that you experience here. Maynard doesn't live too far near Jerome AZ about 3 hours away. Although the natural beauty here keeps you grounded to ancient wisdom and spirituality for me it I s Tool that gets me through long cold winter night. Just saw them on Feb 10 2024 in Phoenix. Next week in Scittsdale I am.gping to his 60th birthday shoe with Primus and Perfect Circle.

A long time after I listened to the ‘No Quarter’ version of Tool I still tried to fool myself by saying the Zeppelin Version is better. My logical mind didn’t want to accept that they made the song flawless , it felt like blasphemy. But after about 10 years I started liking the Tool version more.

10.18.19 TOOL SLC: Girlfriend and I got invited to the show. Drove down from Montana. Met up with the gentleman (Craig B ) who introduced me to TOOL many, many years ago. Sat center, row 5, got a tour of the sound and lighting booth and backstage hang on the bus. Huge thanks to MH and BH for one of the greatest experiences of our lives. Extra HUGE Thanks to the members of TOOL! Your musical contributions have greatly enhanced the lives of many! Lastly, this tune is an absolute, sonic masterpiece! ( as is all of your music )
