I'm feeling good about my gamble to buy the TMP shortly after launch. This update addresses nearly all the issues I have! There are still some amps and cabs that would be nice to have, and I'd still like to see some vocal effects, but as things are, I'm far from mastering all that's already available, so I'm pretty damn happy.
I was very much on the fence about getting a TMP, but I got one a week ago. Thanks for the work you put out supporting the TMP...it has been a real help!
Doug, I have installed the 1.4 update and am falling in love with my TMP all over again! The "59 Bassman custom is the perfect sound for the main riff of Andy Timmon's amazing song "Electric Gypsy". No other effects or dialing in needed - straight out of the box. Been trying to get this sound for a while and the bassman works for me. Andy Timmons is also awesome!!
Wow you convinced me i have to add this to my studios arsenal of guitar gear. I just got the Headrush Prime, but this unit adds to my want for modelers world of sound. Im a old timer and you young folks don't know how lucky you are to be a modern musician. I noticed fender brought back alot of amps of generations ago including on this modeler bass tones . Might i add your channel is the best explanation of this unit period your very through and fun to watch thanks !
This is a big update and had no clue it was coming until yesterday....good 👍🏻 thing too I am struggling a bit to get any sort of gain tone I really like at a decent volume.....but everything else is good and I do love the design of this unit...we shall see in weeks to come 👍🏻💯

All my guitars are tuned Eb. I was using the Pitch Shifter to tune up/down to E or D. It was sounding meh. After trying the Virtual Capo, it just sounds awesome! *Disclaimer: You can't use more than 2 amps in a preset when using the Virtual Capo. Thank you for the video.

I was wondering if, with all that built-in technology and the new updates, it would be possible to recreate the sound of a lapsteel guitar (I don’t know, with a auto-swell pedal or something…). I know…using a bottleneck with my guitar would be the answer, but is there a way to get close to that type of tune with the TMP ? Thanks again for your useful videos.

We need studio equipment models. Eq’s, compressors. I’d like to be able to record vocals through this. Run my mix through it to master. Run individual tracks through it. It would set the tmp apart from the competition.
Wow more midi control! Would love to see a tutorial on how to change preset automatically via Logic Pro using backing tracks (automatically switching from clean to overdrive without having to do nothing).
great news great release! Got really excited about capo pedal - as i hate tuning up ur down, and i’m kinda anti-capo. But i couldn’t get the Virtual Capo to work with multi strings - if you ever mess with it and have any luck drop me a message;-) PS Love the Custom Bassman and Ampeg heads - really sound amazing!!
@@DougBsDigitalDen i placed it first in front of compressor->tone king->Princeton->Chorus->Delay->Reverb… but turned all pedals off and just used amp. Sounded like a detuned mess. I’m going to try a different amp. posted on facebook tmp group and got a pretty wide and mixed gag of experiences. i’ll keep trying though…
@@stevekatz5685 you need to make sure the mix is at 100% and also that you're not hearing your guitar's strings while playing through the virtual capo. a good amount of people are running into that problem. the virtual capo is fine though so there is some issue on your end. it won't matter which amp you use

Question: Can you put two of the same pedal in a line-up? I can’t get enough sustain from a single pedal but have used multiple discrete pedals to get it.
As a quad cortex owner I wonder if you loose sleep before each update (in a bad way). Each time there is an update we as QC owners pray to DSP Gods that out unit functions after the update. How are things on your side?
Hi Doug. I can't find anything about scenes. I updated the app and the TMP, but no menu that I can find to make a scene. Can you point me in the right direction pal. :)
Scenes are integrated as a footswitch assignment option. Select Footswitch Assign (bottom of the preset screen) then select Scene from the assignment type list.
Before updating you should backup to cloud or SD card in case something goes wrong, but user presets are automatically preserved when updating to a newer firmware.
great update done by Fender ... but these are YT times - would have never thought of a guy just letting him read me the content of the Fender homepage :)
Great, 3 more bassman amps, another tubescreamer, and another klon. Head shakes. How about fixing the on/off toggle workflow, bugs on effects toggling when switching presets, and a friggin tweed deluxe or champ already! This is not as promising as the last update.

I don't think that you would damage the FR-10 unless you're playing very loudly.

what about it didn’t work for you?
I'm not having any trouble playing chords with the Virtual Capo. Where are you placing it in your preset? It should probably be the first block.
