Great advice didn't know about anti-siphon valve thanks
Tanks for the awesome video
Thank you! Very helpful!
Hi Ron, do you use Teflon tape for the new anti-siphon valve or do you use a pipe thread compound designed for gasoline? Thank you. I have enjoyed this series.
Yes I do and have never had an issue using it.
Thanks Ron for providing these videos on this resto. Just to follow up on Ray's question, which do you use, teflon tape or thread compound (ie, Blue Monster). If it's teflon tape, which color? Thanks
White
Ron, do you have any experience with a 1995 Mastercraft with Chevy 350/TBI that cranks for five seconds(seems long to me) on a cold start. Once it starts it stumbles and dies. Does this three times or so the. It stars and runs fine. Seems to me the fuel is draining down overnight. Once warmed up it will pop off and start fairly quickly. When I check fuel pressure with key on it is 20 psi. Jumps up to spec at 30 once it stars. When you turn it off fuel pressure immediately goes to 0. I installed a check valve on the supply line thinking maybe it is draining back through the pump
I believe the indmar uses a check valve within the fuel pres. regulator inside the TBI , the pressure should not bleed back that quickly.
Hi ron how do you appropriately dispose gas
