This is about the best pull away from the pit of dumpster I have seen. It is so lovely and I marvel at the possibilities you create. Gives me that nudge to do the same. Stay safe on your trip. All of you.
I'm new to your channel by way of Instagram. You are amazing. Everything you upcycle turns out beautiful and ready for a brand new life! This piece is top tier.
This is one of my favorites of yours now! Wow🎉 Can you make a video using a starting piece that has swollen wood? Do you steer clear of those or how would you go about replacing or refurbishing that kind of wood?
This is lovely! Those legs really elevate the look of the nightstand, too. (And then I realized what I did there.🤭) Wishing you safe travels and a wonderful trip back home.🌸
I’m so excited to hear about little repairs that you notice along the way as you refinish this piece. It makes me feel so much more comfortable with the process.
Definitely inspired! Love how it turned out. The legs made such a huge difference. And keeping the original hardware was the right choice. One less piece in the landfill.
Wow! I have been tuned in for several months now and enjoyed your transforming unattractive pieces of furniture. This nightstand, however, exceeds everything I’ve watch you do. Absolutely amazing! You are definitely the Queen of DIY! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Katie, I’m not big on modern furniture but I have to say you did an amazing job on this piece. I even loved the legs you got. It really turned out sharp looking. I’m sure it will sell quickly. Have a safe trip n enjoy Spring break. ♥️😊👍🌟🌟
WOW!!! I love how you transformed this night stand into a completely different style and so much better now than what it was previously!! You do such great work; you definitely inspire people! ❤
Hi Katie, OOOOOO sister that nightstand is beautiful! You done a fantastic job like always!! I’m not one that’s big on golds, but I love this,,,God Bless sweet friend and safe travels❤
A-MAZ-ING!! if you didn't watch the entire video, you'd think that you bought it at some high-end store!! love your videos. Can't wait to see what you do next.❤
Thank you for the link to your table legs - I couldn’t find what I’m looking for until I followed that lead. Your legs are pure Killer! Makes the table! 🤩
I always love watching your videos, so informative, great step-by-step description. Is there a way that you can give a tutorial specifically about sandpaper gauges why they’re different gauges how would and when you use them etc.
Looks great. Even when I'm using a jigsaw and clamp something in place to help give me a straight cut...it always ends of being "off", like the blade is bending.
I’ve watched so many of your videos and I love your work. I noticed in this video you mentioned safety glasses and you wear glasses. Did you get prescription safety glasses or do you just wear contacts with them?
I do like how it turned out. I would have a piece of glass cut for the top of it. That way it would protect it from drinks serve like you said, keys, chargers, etc. Really a beautiful job though.
I've been watching all your passed flips..l love what you do and admire how particular you are to the finer details. My favourites are definitely the Dinning tables and chairs you made over.Cant wait to see what you do next❤
I'm always happy to see items, not just furniture get a second life. It's great to keep them out of the landfill. However, the prices they claim to get for these refurbished pieces is just ridiculously exaggerated! 😂 It is interesting to see the process and all the great ideas, not to mention the reveal of the finished piece! 😊
Hope your trip was great. I finished my door jamb. It was a conventional door into my bedroom. The door opened opposing a closet door. The bedroom door had also been chewed on by a dog. There was room to have a barn door on the bedroom side. Instead of ripping out the door trim, I filled the hinge and tongue spots with wood filler, sanded some and have a smooth looking opening once it was painted. Not perfect. But, it is better looking than before and no ripped out wood trim to send to the dump. And, I did it myself!! Thanks for your example!
I am not a fan of gold ... but you won me over with this project ! I saw those same legs on Amazon and will purchase a set in gold for one of my flips! Luv your style 😊 🎉
Haha I was so sad when you said you weren't going to use the original handle, so glad that you changed your mind, I love it! Cutting off that ugly base and adding those legs was a game-changer, this piece is gorgeous!
Very pretty makeover. I hear ya when you said you want to use up what you have collected over the years. I am doing the same. In fact, I decided I don't want to bring anything else in my house until I deal with what I have!
You are the queen of giving fast furniture a second life. It’s darling!
I'd bet an arm and a leg that that's the best that nightstand has ever looked. 😏
Wow, you are so talented!!! It looks great!!! You just inspired me to update my old fashion night stands that are made out of great wood.
That is awesome!
Great transformation! Safe traveling on your holiday.
Love the legs on this night stand!! Beautiful job Katie
Katie, this is gorgeous !! Thank you for removing that hideous base, your new legs give it a glam look ❤
This is about the best pull away from the pit of dumpster I have seen. It is so lovely and I marvel at the possibilities you create. Gives me that nudge to do the same. Stay safe on your trip. All of you.
Looks great. Safe travels. That's a long drive.
Very clever rework! Safe travels to you and your family.
I have no words. Simply wonderful😍

Just perfect!
I really enjoy your UA-cam channel. Good work!
Awesome, thank you!
You are so good 😊 I can’t really see that color but it looks like a gorgeous cashmere
This is lovely! Those legs really elevate the look of the nightstand, too. (And then I realized what I did there.🤭) Wishing you safe travels and a wonderful trip back home.🌸

Hi Katie,
OOOOOO sister that nightstand is beautiful!
You done a fantastic job like always!!
I’m not one that’s big on golds, but I love
this,,,God Bless sweet friend and safe travels❤
Great idea! And meticulous work! I think white would have looked amazing next to the gold/brass.
A-MAZ-ING!! if you didn't watch the entire video, you'd think that you bought it at some high-end store!! love your videos. Can't wait to see what you do next.❤
Thank you for another wonderful video. As always, you're informative and the end results are amazing. Have a terrific spring break with family.
Honestly I'm absolutely floored. I've been searching for a nightstand in antique shops & thrift stores, and I would 100% love this one!
Katie, you are very creative. I am inspired each time I’ll watch your tutorial videos. Thank you for sharing your gift and knowledge.
What a vision! Hands down the best transformation I’ve ever seen!!
You go girl!!👏🏻👏🏻💕
Katie, I love your Canadian accent. It's lovely and charming. Have a terrific spring break with your fam!

Never fear: Katie's here!! What an amazing transformation! Have a lovely (and safe) trip back to Ontario. Kindest regards, k
I’ve watched so many of your videos and I love your work. I noticed in this video you mentioned safety glasses and you wear glasses. Did you get prescription safety glasses or do you just wear contacts with them?
I love that you reuse stuff (even the brown paper). BTW, I noticed the gap on the top so I’m glad you fixed it. Would definitely use this in my home.
I do like how it turned out. I would have a piece of glass cut for the top of it. That way it would protect it from drinks serve like you said, keys, chargers, etc. Really a beautiful job though.

I'm just starting out and find your videos so helpful. Do you typically paint the back of your pieces too??
Fast furniture! What a great name. Did you make that one up? You definitely spiced up the cuisine with that flip. Loved it👌
You always amaze me on your talent!! Such an incredible makeover!! Thank you as always!!
You are definitely inspiring. Beautiful work.
Thank you so much!
Omg are u in nb!!! So am I!
Safe travels, Katie. Hope you and your family have a wonderful trip and enjoy every minute with family and friends. 👍
Shut the front door! You knocked it out of the park lady!!! Excellent!!!! Beautiful!!!
I really loved this video. You really do an excellent job of showing us how almost any piece of furniture can be improved and used again.
I'm always happy to see items, not just furniture get a second life. It's great to keep them out of the landfill.

Eye catching piece. Really follows the inspiration you showed at the beginning. Classy

You have such a good eye and great skills. Paired together, you create masterpieces. This was a definite Cinderella story.
Love the transformation you made with this piece of furniture!
Wishing you and your family safe travels!
Another great job. Hope you have a nice trip and wonderful time with family and friends. 👍
Although Contempo/Modern isn't my go to, this is stunning! Nicely done Katie 👏🏻
The nightstand has a beautiful new life. Good idea to shop from your stash first.
🌸❤️🌸
Beautiful end result and I LOVE the soft beige color. Looks like the nightstand will fit in any home style
Huge upgrade! That’s awesome you’re using up existing materials and things you have.
My 6 year old granddaughter just loves to watch your videos, thinks you are the best! I agree with her, safe traveling.
Haha I was so sad when you said you weren't going to use the original handle, so glad that you changed your mind, I love it! Cutting off that ugly base and adding those legs was a game-changer, this piece is gorgeous!

Can't tell that's the same piece. It was a weird design with the original bottom but now it's just beautiful. Great job!
I so enjoy you show and even though we get busy you make the time to bring it. Thank you Katie for being dedicated to your followers. ❤
Gorgeous transformation! Bravo, good work! And enjoy your vacation!
You always do such a good and completely professional job. Love all your projects.
13:10 : So pretty! This project looks like you could have taken way more time than you did!
Hi Katie, another wonderful cinderella makeover🙏thanks Gale x
Adorable piece. What a transformation! Have a fun time on your trip. Safe travels.
You're amazing..! This looks so lovely after your TLC ❤
Wow they look stunning! Even though they are on the cheaper side, they look expensive!
I love this! I'm not a huge fan of the contemporary look, but this is great! I think I might give this a go!!
Amazing! Love the new look. Hope you had a good trip/visit.
You did a marvelous job on this Katie 👍💪 as ALWAYS!
A very creative solution for this now very nice looking nightstand !!
I like to seal particle board with bondo too. It keeps the veneer from chipping and does protect it from moisture.
I had my doubts about this before you stared Katie, but you never cease to amaze me. This makeover is so beautiful ❤
Great job. Love the legs and reused handle. Definitely updated to modern.
Cutting that base off was the best thing you could have done. It didn't look right at all but jow it looks stylish
Love it! Wish you lived closer! I'd have you refinish sone very similar pieces! ❤️
Good job, Katie. I love it!! Safe travels for you and your family 🚗
So cute! It turned out beautifully. Someone is very lucky to get this piece.
I've watched a few of your videos but I have a question. Why do you use bondo instead of wood filler? I love how this came out.
Bondo is a wood filler
