- It’s been a long time coming but I've outgrown Telephone 2.0.
This suit had a long run of 8 years with many miles traveled.
I’m so thankful for all the memories I’ve made with all of you and I look forward to more adventures. But now the time has come for an upgrade and to bring new life into Telephone with 3.0 made by myself Skypro Costumes! I hope you all enjoy the video. At the end of this series, I will be doing a QNA to answer any questions you may have!

I've been debating whether to remake my first fursuit- one I made 4 years ago. I just got this in my recommended, and I'm taking it as a sign. You've been my biggest inspiration for years, and seeing Telephone grow and evolve and get remade is making me want to revisit my old characters and see how they'll change too .
Same, I’m just doing some much needed touch ups (too lazy to refur her, and am saving up to commision another fursuitmaker )

In waiting until I get a job so I can make my first one (well I have a start to a job I am starting to volunteer on restoring trains and I'm can volunteer to be a life guard) but the job will be the hardest I need to have an interview AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
The rust red looks really nice but I do think the old fur has a kind of natural look to it but in all honesty we'll love telephone no matter what she looks like
I mean you could say Telephone is evolving so she could have a color change but your the creator of Telephone so go with what you like and I'm sure we all will still love the new Telephone and keep 2.0 in our hearts. Telephone is perfect now matter what.
Aaand this is why good fursuits are expensive, folks. A lot of time, resources, and creative effort go into each of these.
the effort you put into this is amazing! The Dutchie community has grown to an astonishing size and you're an insparation to so many people! Including me :3
I remember those days of seeing Telephone 1.0 being retired for 2.0, and now I'm seeing 2.0 become retired for 3.0. Damn I feel old now lol
my favorite thing about you is how much effort and perseverance you put in your suits, it shows your really enjoy and care :D

The question about the fur color was really tricky, but upon seeing the face furred I have to say it was the right choice, it looks really nice.

I've just started working on making my own suit and I never even thought about using razors to cut out fabric! I've been using fabric scissors. What a great idea!
To be honest, The dummies/duct tape dummies look kinda scary… like, not actually. But imagine getting up for a glass of water or smth in the middle of the night and looking into the doorway of your work room and seeing a t-posing shadow with a drooping head… yikes.

the talent and skill on display is honestly astounding.
All i can say is you impress me on every single level.
just watching this and looking at the way the suit progresses into a more and more vibrant but familiar design- my eyes kind of started watering a little. ive been so attached to telephone as a character as well as the massive story revolving around the species, its real and fictional origins, and your general awesomeness as a creator and well known figure in the furry community for so many years and even the 'raw' silhouette of 3.0's head made me go 'oh my gosh here she comes' in my head.. whenever i watch or read something relating to telephone or dutchies in general it feels like finally hearing about how an old friend is doing after what feels like forever just not knowing anything beyond old memories.
even with that aside, it can be nice to have a new iteration of something you love after it being a longstanding thing. i dont have any doubts that this suit will turn out wonderfully and that this marks a new era of something so valuable to many people. you're a great person and the effort you put into your work in general is incredible.
now that that whole spiel is mostly done: arizonans seem to be super few and far between online at least in terms of actively being present and making anything.. sending good wishes and a pinch of admiration from the chandler/gilbert area! :D

This really makes me want to try working on my first suit again. I put him aside since I lost hope of finishing him, I thought he looked awful, and I even changed my idea of which character he was going to be. He's now an original species I made but I'll have to do a lot of work to reflect that and introduce what he is to the world. But maybe I'll start again soon :3
First suits that are completely self made always look horrible or have bad flaws. You’ll get better the more projects you do. Always try out different techniques so you can find the best one and improve quality

Telephone 2.0 was a truly magnificent suit and I'm sure telephone 3.0 is going to be even more so, not to mention adorable especially the one controlling telephone, but I do have a question what happened to 2.0 that has made u have to make a new suit?
i think cuz telephone 2.0 was super old and starting to fall apart in certain areas and/or they wanted to remake telephone with their new skills?
