Here we are at DTF (DIRECT TO FILM) PRINTER SET UP: PRINTER SETTINGS AND USE - part 2!
I am starting to really love this DTF Printer. If you saw the first video, please know that setting up the DTF Printer is the hardest part. Once you get past that, it is literally smooth sailing, bright images, and unlimited possibilities!

Hey delonda, great video. I just purchased the same printer so there was some helpful info here. I just wanted to comment on your anti virus issue. You only need to turn the anti virus off to install the program. Once it’s installed go and add the folder location and the exe file to your exclusions list in windows security. After you do that your anti virus will ignore it. You will also do this with the epson adjustment program that was included in the software package. That program will be needed down the line when you have to reset your ink pad alert. Good luck and thanks for the video!

Hi Delonda, what a beautiful shirt. You did awesome. I have to admit i was nervious and still am. I love DTF but to scared to try it. I am struggling with the hack so i hope one day i am brave enough to do the actual dtf.

Make sure you are pulling the waste ink out. You can also try shaking the white tank for 3 minutes...yes, 3 minutes.

It is definitely an investment. It is probably most suitable for someone who has a business. I would not suggest this printer DM for someone who only does crafting as a hobby.

Hi there, the biggest I have done is A3. But they have a bigger film on the market now that I plan to try. I think it will go up to 13 x 19.
Delonda, I went out and purchased this DTF printer after watching your video. I will be setting it up this weekend thanks to your step by step walk through. Did you shake up all the inks before pouring them in, or did you only shake the white? Also, I need you to do more videos on this printer.
That is awesome! I had to shake up all of them. The printer that I have will shake the white periodically as long as it is powered on and you will also need to shake it more often than the others. I am trying to put it in the rotation, while I am also learning about the Siser Romeo.

Hi there, it can pretty much be used for anything but yes, most people use it for dark fabric.

What do you think about the maintenance part of the dtf printer? Also, I heard that you have to have the proper amount of humidity is this true? Love you and your content
I was very worried about the maintenance but I haven't had a problem so far. The one thing that I need to do is find a way to keep the anti-virus software off. I know there is a way to add the software to my approved items, I just haven't figured it out yet. I don't know rnough about the humidity requirement.

How is the odor fumes smell tolerant? I have serious allergies to with chemicals. Did it come with a MSDS sheet? Thank you
I haven’t noticed any fumes. I also did not see a MSDS. I would highly suggest using safety equipment if the chemicals may cause an allergic reaction.

Nope. Mine doesn't have a roll feeder.

I like to use my htvront with DTF transfers but it really doesn't matter.

Nope, not all.

have you used the A3 8x11 film? i accidentally bought it but cant get the settings correct for it to print
A3 and 8 x 11 are two different things.
Does the butterfly set on top of the shirt like DTV ? I can't call it sublimation if it's not embedded into the shirt like real sublimation
It's actually not sublimation. Sublimation requires polyester fibers and direct to film does not. This feels very soft but not the same way that a sublimated image feels.

Yolanda, I am not sure what happened, but I used the hack for the my ink jet printer and in the wash my design came off. What did I do wrong?
The hack does not work with inkjet printers. That's why you haven't ever seen me do that.

Hey delonda I am having issues with the settings staying to what I put them. When I change one thing it goes back to the default settings. It was working fine. Any advise ?
Make sure when you create the settings, that you save them in the printer menu.
