I so appreciate this information! Thank you so much for posting this video! I have a lot of weight to lose, but I think I will take a different approach than the approach of going on one of these medications, given the potential side effects. Excellent video!
Thanks SO MUCH for being honest about these drugs. You are not the first doctor I have heard this from, but I suppose that patients might pressure a doctor to get these drugs. And I suppose that some of these patients could be able to lose weight other ways - exercise, food choice changes, less alcohol use. I applaud your willingness to be honest about the pro’s & con’s of new medications!.

Im now taking monjoro. I love the fact I'm taking this. I'm loosing weight like crazy. I was taking ozempic and it worked great for awhile. But it's so popular nobody has it. In four surrounding counties. No pharmacy has it. So now I'm on monjoro. I wish I had known about it a long time ago. I'm able to loose the weight ive been trying to loose for years. I'm one happy camper. My diabetes is great. My numbers are down. And great. It's helping my blood pressure as well.

Can you take either of these weight loss medications while you’re taking a blood thinner? I have been taking Xarelto (blood clots in lungs) since 2015 and I have some doubts about the risks of the meds.
I like your videos, however I think your comment about how long Semaglutide has been on the market is incorrect. Similar drugs like Liraglutide that are shorter acting were around that long but not Semaglutide
You are right! This was a mistake on my part. Thanks for the catch. Semaglutide was approved for diabetes in December 2017.
