Haven’t studies shown that once a patient stops taking Semaglutide or Tirzepatide, 95% of the lost weight is gained back again? If so, shouldn'’t that be part of the conversation, too?
Those of us in the obesity medicine field are asking why. The more we learn, the less we realize we know. Obesity is SO multifactorial - diet, gut hormones, gut microbiome, environment, additives in foods, genetics, stress in the womb, stress in the world, not getting enough sleep - the list could go on. The questions ARE being asked, we just realize there is no one cause.
@@ChristyRisingerMD Of course it is multifactorial as is most things. Funny you didn’t mention corn syrup or lack of walking. 🚶♂️ Researching a problem is fine but given the severity of the issue I’m thinking clear research would be showing clear causation?

Crazy world. Obesity is a huge issue now. Wasn’t so much in the 1960s. Why? Hang on. Why ask why? Why deal with that when we can sell pills! $d
