    good idea but i would suggest to start and end with P prayer, so the Holy Spirit will lead you through the other steps. The Holy Spirit will unseal the Word of God for us to learn and understand

      webicy Amani you typed exactly what I was going to suggest. The Holy Spirit must open our spiritual eyes to see and reveal. Open or spiritual ears to hear. Otherwise, we're just reading the Bible with no revelation. It's about quality and not quantity. She has a very good method though. Kudos!!! Praise God.

      webicy Amani sure I also realised that when I prayed before reading the Bible, the Holy Spirit comes in to give me understanding. And I can interpret scriptures in just the most amazing ways.

    I love this method! My favorite go-to study method is the "Outer SPACE" method.
    Outer - What's the context of the passage?
    S - Does this passage reveal any sin/s we should avoid?
    P - Does this passage reveal any promises we can claim?
    A - Does this passage reveal an attitude/s we should reflect?
    C- Does this passage give any commands to follow?
    E - End with prayer.

      When going thru trauma/traumatic experience we have to watch/observe

You can also do topical studies on subjects that interest you by searching "Bible verses about ______". I have a listing on my site here: onethingalone.com/?s=bible+verses+about. • @annphillips3014
      @annphillips3014 5 років тому +5

      e rivera ,
      If God used a donkey to talk a prophet(Numbers 22:28,30),
      He used a rooster
      (John 13;38)
      He used a woman to tell men about him (John 4:28, 39)
      They believed on Jesus because of what the woman said, that is why they came to hear him! After they came they told her they believed because of his own word, v 41
      And the Bible says, there is neither male or female in Christ Jesus Galatians 3:28

    • @annphillips3014
      @annphillips3014 5 років тому +6

      @e rivera, to finish the reply from earlier, if God can use a donkey to talk, a rooster to prove his point, and a woman to witness for him, He can use a woman to lead some one to Christ today, better to lead them to Christ then lead to down the path to hell .
      Proverbs 7:5-27 speaks about her, v. 27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. That is where Satan leads, because there is where he is going and he is trying to take everyone with him that he can. Thank God he sent his Son, Jesus, so that we don’t have to go. All we have to is, accept Jesus as our Savior and live for him, according to Romans 10:9-10.

    This sounds like a fabulous way to slow it down and ponder. The more limited alone time I get, the more I find myself tempted to treat scriptures like some kind of marathon training...like I gotta get my pages in to stay fit. This style is so much more fulfilling. I’m totally going to mix this in to my scripture study this year.

    S - scripture, write out the verse
    O- observations about pasage, repeated words, commands, author and intended audience, what comes before and after the verse you're working with
    A - application, stems from observations; use them to come up with a personal application. Use SMART method - Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound.
    P - Prayer, write it out or pray aloud; some use K for kneel, which is a position for prayer

It is so creative, organized and it makes sense. It covers all the bases I can't say enough. I will study more this morning just to try it! Just the example touched my heart with the verse and the words because that is what God always tells me. Be still and know I am God. So not only have you shared the best way of studying you have reminded me daily what I need to do. Cease striving. Pray and say God I trust you. That's beautiful. I love this simple method of studying God's Word: letting God speak through it to me by taking it as a personal word and then responding to God both in action and in conversation with Him. This particular verse opened up to me in a new way, as you mentioned that "Know" means "yada" - the Hebrew word for intimacy. When we cease from our own works and develop an intimacy with Jesus (as in abiding in the Vine - John 15:5), letting Him work in us, God is truly exalted. That is awesome! This is the Biblical way of meditating on God's Word as given in Joshua 1:8 - to "observe" to "do" what is written in it. I'm glad this popped up! Thanks!

    This is awesome! Sometimes Believers think all they need to do is show up for church and the preacher will dump the Bible into them and there is no responsibility for the hearer...there is SO much power released in personal revelation and as I preach, "our relationships deepen with knowledge of the other person/God!!"
    I am sending this video to my sister who is house-bond right now due to illness...THANK YOU!!

    I am a nurse and in medicine Dr's and nurses learn to document patient assessments and begin the plan of care using SOAP or SOAPIER. It means subjective, objective, assessment and plan. SOAPIER goes a step further and becomes a bit more detailed as subjective objective assessment plan implementation evaluation reassessment. Some hospitals maybe taylor it a bit. So it takes into account what the patient says, what you observe, what you want to do about it and then put it into action. SOAPIER continues with evaluating the plan and revisiting the whole plan to see what needs to be done next. Very good tool for keeping to the problem and the outcome.

    Want to say Thank You Jesus and thank you sis for this awesome time of spending with the Lord. I think you should have a letter for just letting the HEAVENLY Father speak to you and jot down what He is saying to you. He Loves it when we wait on Him to say something to us. This is our relationship with our BEST FRIEND AND FATHER.

  • @craftsNstuffBamma

    Wow! This is an awesome way to study and not feel guilty about not spending oodles of time. It is to the point, brings our focus on God and it helps so much, for me at least, to write things down. Then I can concentrate. If I try to talk to God or pray, my mind wanders and I get so little accomplished which is very frustrating. I want to spend time with my Lord, glean something and enjoy it this time with Him. This is an amazing way to do it. Thank you so much and God bless you.

      yes, I agree, it make me think about Jesus asking if his disciples would watch and pray one hour. I know some days I have more time to study, I also feel anything we do for the Lord , he will honor it no matter the amount of time we put in into it. I also remember God saying obidiance is better then sacrifice. God bless all of you and your prayers are greatly appreciated. Rhonda

      Lee Mcmunn well at least it's a start.. some people start slow and move on to spending more time with God. so don't judge them, instead pray for all of us to spend more time daily with our Lord.

      Webitu Serva I can see how hard it might be trying to learn deaf, so I wanna let you know that on some videos, they have captions. If you are on a laptop or desktop, if a video has captions it will have the logo "cc". Click that, and captions will pop up. If you are on a mobile device, (like a phone) in the upper right corner of the video (if you pause it), there are three vertical dots. Click that, and then press captions. I really hope this helps!😊

    Sister Asheritah, thank you for this method of studying the Bible. I found that I had been backsliding and needed to get back into the living word. I did the SOAP method with Matthew 6:25. I found at the end of it, I felt a whole lot better. I will continue to do this method on a daily basis, and as I get better, will add on more verses in one study. God bless 🙏.

    • @anikishani
      @anikishani 7 років тому +1

      thequotidian I use a Parallel Bible from Zondervan. It is both the King James and Amplified versions of the bible side by side. Very helpful for an expanded understanding of intents and motives in Spirit. You can use biblegateway.com as an awesome resource as well. Consider even a bible app on your phone for easy access any time. It will allow you to save passages and take notes as well. God bless your studies and walk in the Spirit. May you receive all clarity, knowledge, and understanding as you grow in faith!!!

      ANIKI SHANI interesting reading this bc I looked up who owns zondervan and the other companies above him...and the owner to those companies supports selling pornographic material as well as the satanic Bible...I just bought a Bible from a Christian book store for my children...it's nkjv and it is by zondervan. So I'm taking it back and getting the kjv by Tomas Nelson or another publisher...
