Thanks Abdul, very kind of you ! I hadnt used Unreal too much before this, just 1 very small project I had to do for university. I prepared for this project by spending a couple weeks before starting just collecting tutorials/resources I needed for it. (However, this was when UE5 was in early access - so there wasnt much at all!)

Otherwise we don't understand in which direction it's going and to the eye it will look weird Apart from that, it's a great movie, man!

From idea to final in around 3 months. I didn't have so much experience in Unreal before, however I had a few years experience in creating my own assets which really helps.
Thanks! It was kind of both mixed in together. It was all done in Unreal but just with video cards. I scaled and moved these video cards so it looks like it's not just static :)

wow amazing detail! great job with this piece! do you have any advice for incorporating Houdini with Unreal? Was the smoke vdb or flipbook? And did you use niagra for the snow? Thanks!
thank you so much! I used a flip book sequence for the smoke, and then used the vdb to fill in missing frames and make it smoother. Worked really nicely. The snow on top is just composited on top, little trick. That’s the only thing that was composited on top though!
Haha. Could be great! I have almost 1000 progress images of the project. It would take some time to sort out and make available to people. Im unsure if there would be much demand.
