It's true that it's like a beam in the sense of a fixed beam angle, but beams are usually narrower than 15 degrees. Now that I think about it, washes are usually wider than 15 degrees as well.

Hey JB! The Both Aura has an adjustable beam angle and is brighter and each of the LED diodes can do each of the colors. But this one is much cheaper
