So amazing!! 10 out of 10! You absolutely crushed this lighting design. So grateful we got to work together. Will definitely recommend you to all our clients.
Daryl you crushed this one! The atmosphere easily makes this event feel luxury! Definitely going to borrow inspiration for some future large venue events I have coming up.
Greetings from Germany. I am always satisfied watching your videos. Thank you for giving us impressions and feeding us with ideas. My benefit, I can always get something new and love to follow your growth... Keep on, great job!
Wow bro this is gorgeous can’t imagine what you will have 10 yrs from now. I expect a beautiful blessing over you. Question if you where just starting out doing dj and lighting at same time what setup would you start with ? Thanks
Hey Darryl, great show I too only use sound switch in standalone mode. Could never get it to connect to virtual DJ even though it says it’s connected. None of my auto loops would be able to be selected so I do it the old-school way.keep them rockin!!!
It’s weird the over rides work on my control one along with auto scripted songs. But the auto loops play randomly and buttons do nothing when linked to vdj 😢 love your vids keep them coming!!
@@DJDarylBennettyeah I understand. We have done the BPM thing ourselves and it just didn’t work right and I can’t figure out how to connect a mic using ableton link
@@DJDarylBennett Got it. Do you know of any videos that show how to setup a microphone with Ableton link to do music sync? I have searched but cannot find anything
Hi, this is very cool lightning setup !! i am considering to try soundswich with controlone. i rent and setup sound and lightning gear for djs mostly for weddings and company parties, and i was looking for a nice universal solution for managing lights by djs. soundswitch looks great espacaly with serato, but do i need a license for every dj ? or the license is "inside" control one ? Thanks for help, and its cool to watch your videos
Thanks for watching! This solution is what I would use for a rental: ua-cam.com/video/ZJkNAzpHd4s/v-deo.html Each license gives you 3 activations on 3 devices at a time. The control one requires a laptop to operate
@@DJDarylBennett I’m used to dj’ing on EV active 10” tops and 18” subs - but looking for the light weight and perfomance sweetspot upgrade. I need to hear the Evox12/jmix8/evovle 30/50 in person, because and get my head around, that a column speaker can hang with my go-to PA. 😅
Nice! Do you know if I can sync soundwitch to pro tools? I'm not a DJ, but guitar play and want to sync lights. Or how do I get it to read the music if I don't have a dj setup? Cheers!
can you share where you found those small powercon out to ac power (for the wireless dmx that needs a power adapter) that are on the pocket pro moving heads on the 2nd level? Thx!
Hello there greetings from Los Angeles, I noticed you have your movers moving on Static Mode, I see that some of them move in different directions, how do you do this ? I know how to do it in the autoloop section, but I never done it on static mode. I know if I turn on the movement button all movers move but in the same way, I want to be able to move move individually in the Static Mode, thanks for help in advance.
hey Daryl . im not sure if your be able to help on this . within Soundswitch regarding the lights, within the dmx setting on the lighting theres Groups 1 -4 but theres also Mover (primary - Secondary and then theres one called Tertiary) would you be able to maybe do a small video on what all them mean / do please. Many thanks
@Daryl Bennett Music thank you so much . Right now I'm using 6x uking 80w moving heads with 4x uking 36 pars. I'm very new to sound switch and dmx so any help/advise would help out a great deal
For those of us newbies to soundswitch, can soundswitch be used as a "standalone wireless DMX controller" without being connected to the software/computer, simply to change light colors by pushing the buttons?
Standalone mode refers to not being connected to software, you'll still need to be connected to your laptop. At least for now, they're always listening to customer feedback and may change course in the future
@@DJDarylBennett Interesting (or more frustrating) that they sell the USB connection separately if using it (not connected) to the computer isn't an option?
@@DJDarylBennett Thanks. Would be nice to use the box as a "Standalone" DMX controller without the software, and used the software for more intricate displays/shows. Having said that I have one being delivered today :)
What a terrific lighting setup, every wedding dj should check it out and take notes! This is how it's done.
Thank you! :)
Great video, thanks for being loud enough and professional
Thanks for watching
I LOVED how you used the smaller moving spots!

Really Excellent videos, have learned alot from you, also purchased loads of gear from Both Lighting following your reviews , thank you
Great to hear! Thanks for reviewing
that venue is beautiful 🤩
💯I love historic venues
Terribly ancient crowd for such an awesome Light show. Would love to see what you can do for an EDM wedding like I do

Thanks! I'd probably do a gigbar 2 or washfx hex
Love your content. At 1:17 of the video you show your Both uplights in a case. What case is that? I have been looking for something like that.
Bride casually falling at 8:53 😂
i was waiting to see if anyone commented on this. And no one moves. literally, no one as the bride hits the floor.

I thought I was the only one who saw that

These are the Chauvet hybrid 140sr.
Awesome set up. How are you running sound switch on a secondary laptop.
Soundswitch lets you run in stand alone mode
Was that the Evolve 30's ? And was that the only speakers at the venue ?? Were they enough ? :-)
These were evolve 50s, and while this was a big space, there weren’t that many guests and the sound was loud where it needed to be

I'd suggest just putting it in standalone mode. Or using Ableton

These are the Chauvet Intimidator 255's which have AC power out. But i've used these with other fixtures: amzn.to/3FqL2NK
What program do you use with soundswitch to see the lights at a venue ?
Grandma2
are you using the dongle or the one?
The One when I can, but I definitely use both, and have a dongle in my emergency bag

You set the position to THRU, and they'll use your Autoloops movements. (You need to be in performance mode)
You where only using 2 Evolve 50 for sound?
I only ran lighting at this gig, but the evolves were great, there was like 80 guests
Hello, how did you make the movers move in a static scene?😊
Setting them to THRU in the static scene
