- SoundSwitch is awesome for DJ DMX lighting, but how will it do for lighting a live band? I created a show from scratch and I go over some high-level lighting ideas, the fixtures I use, how I set it all up in SoundSwitch, a gig log, and my final thoughts.

Yoooooo ... Thank you for posting this video of the Controller.. I've only seen it being used with DJ Software and was looking for a controller to use with Live bands for small venues.. I have a computer driven controller but it's too much for small venues.. You just sold me on this device.. The band sounded like a lot of fun with those short pieces you showed.. Even dug the Gwen Stefani .. just a girl in that.. anyways.. Thank you so much for this review
Thanks for watching! There's definitely better controllers for big band setups, but this is perfect for smaller mobile gigs and if you DJ too

I would like to playback digital songs on my pc but would like to integrate dmx control to control lighting, what software is better and easier to do this with Soundswith or Ableton?
This is great, just subscribed and am very interested in getting the sound switch controller and software. However, I'm reading about Intel graphics cards limitations..? Have there been any workarounds to this or what would you suggest otherwise? Thanks!

That's great, IF you have someone to run soundswitch!!! BUT, what if you don't have someone and You Have to Run it yourself from the Stage While Performing?????
I tried to show in the video that it can run itself without manual input, but it has the flexibility to allow for manual input if you like that

so quick question. how do you set up the intensity chases seen at 9:01. do i do that from the main soundswitch timeline? and how?
You can right click any Autoloop or static scene, and then map it to a midi controller. Or if you buy the control one, then you can just use that
@@DJDarylBennett so autoloop ? is that a premade thing? so if I create an automation on the timeline, with light colors and dimming and movements, if I highlight that section and right click, how do i save it to a pad?
What lights do you have on the t bars at front left and right of the stage? I dont seem them listed, or mentioned, unless I missed them?
These are generic Chinese uplights from eBay. I now recommend both uplighting
