Great video! One of the best install / demos for the camera I've seen.
GREAT VID ! Saved our day. Customer sprung this exact setup with the ceiling tile mounting accessory at the last minute. Time is money, this vid saved us! Thank You! Subcriber going forward.
Useful video. Was expecting this to have "wings" like a downlighter so it can be pushed in from below. Looks like you can't install this unless you can get above the panel you're mounting it into. A bit difficult for roof soffits!!!! Shame, as that was my application. Fine for ceiling tiles in a suspended ceiling, but not much else...
Great video. Shows just what I needed to know. Thanks
Thanks! Right to the point! Great video!!
I keep coming back to this video its really helped.
Very good video, Thanks
Great video. Thanks
Hi, great video thank you. Do you happen to know the maximum thickness the mount supports when using the top ring mount?
I can't believe they didn't allow enough space for a pre-made RJ45 cable to fit because of the snag protector
Thanks mate 👍
One of the better installation videos. Quick question. In your opinion, do you feel the under mount would work outdoors on a home? The eave of my roof extends almost two feet past the wall line so it would be well protected from above. What do you think?
Great video
Good stuff sir - thank you for the detailed video.
Great video!!, Question, regarding the mounting unit. I can remove some drywall, to all full install the the ceiling mount/bracket to allow full spin of the camera. Is the small screw to hold the camera required or can the camera stay in place without it? However, once installed and everything is patched up I would not be able to remove the camera without recutting the hole, if the screw is required. If it is not, then I could remove the magnetic lock cover and simply pull down on the camera. Are there any other ceiling mount brackets similar to the Ubiquiti with easier install? Thanks again.
Are you able to still record clear audio when the camera is inside this ceiling mount? To me it looks like microphone might be blocked when inside the mount.
If I install it in a hard ceiling, how deep must the hole be?
So I know this is an old video, but hope someone who has done this can respond. How is the audio affected?
would you think these could be mounted under the soffit outdoors? thx for the vid
By any chance.. do you happen to know if the FlexHD ceiling mount installs and is used in the same fashion? I'm installing it in a house and won't have access to the topside of the ceiling.. so I would need to install it blindly without the back plate. From the pictures on UI's website it looks almost identical to the mount shown in this video. Can you or someone else confirm? Thank you
