I beat Andre Agassi back in 1985 when we were both protégés of Nick Bolletieri. I was 5 years older and could hit the forehand harder than anyone in the world…but I quit to follow my dream of music. I never thought Andre had enough to become a grand slam champion yet alone the legend he became. He achieved this greatness by IMMENSE HARD WORK and intelligent advice from our beloved coach (rest in peace nick). So a big bravo to David back then for believing in himself enough to not give up. Massive achievement too. Thanks for sharing this video. May it inspire others too

Agassi really is crazy good... The way he takes the ball so early... I read a book on his childhood/life, it's insane how much tennis he played in his life, and his love/mostly hate relationship with tennis. Incredible comeback from Ferrer

Ferrer comes from the same tradition as Corretja and Bruguera. Then I learned that this kind of player is called “pusher” in the US. Sorry to his fans, I respect all of you, but I am not a fan of pushers.

Agassi played the first 12 years of his career against Sampras and the last 9 years of his career against Federer and won 8 slams. Get a clue....Put the Big 3 in the 1990s/early 2000s against Sampras, Agassi, Edberg, Becker, Rafter, Safin etc and they would not win HALF the amount of slams they have
