    Even back in the day they had gold runners.... We could've split that yellow runner in two so that the gold parts could have been pre gold similar to Hyaku Shiki.

    The screw holes are to tight on these older MG kits that use them. I recommend you take 2.0mm drill bit and drill half the length of the screw. This will make it a lot easier to threat the screw into the part.
    Test fit the screw and if it becomes hard to thread the screw in you may need to drill the hole a little deeper.
    Also when joining the shoulders there is a lot of friction and the pieces might be extremely tight. I suggest that you lightly sand or scrape a flat spot on part (G25).
    The test fit (G25) and (G4), but do not push (G4) all the way on if you feel a lot of friction because you might need to remove more material. You want to be able to push the parts together with relatively little force, but have enough friction that you can pull the parts apart by gently wiggling them.
