Emma Frost regressing to a villain, I don't like that with all of the growth that she has had, like how she has built up good relationships and trust with the X-Men and the heroes like Storm, Kitty Pryde, Wolverine, and all of them and Wolverine in the issue with Dr. Doom's mutant subjects where Wolverine asked Volta about joining the X-Men, and she refused, and Wolverine was like, "That is what all of the best of them say." Showing that Emma has gained the trust and respect of everyone and she is a part of their team and their family now, and she has changed and redeemed herself and everyone loves her. That was great. It is probably the greatest aspect of Emma's character. I don't want that to change and regress back to villainy.

You saying Cable made me think it’s time to resurrect Stryfe
Stryfe is one of the most inconsistently written characters of the modern era. He went from being a mysterious mastermind to a nihilistic abuse survivor to a disembodied Astral projection to petty sociopath to a brief face turn to ghost trying to escape Hell to a time traveling genocidal tyrant to Hope's boogeyman to a sad duplicate trying to become the one true Nathan Summers. He's practically a whole new character with entirely different characteristics and motivations every time a new person writes him.
The sad thing is that I read X-Cutioner's Song during a rough time in my life and really connected to this character that not only survived circumstances not so different than my own, but came back stronger, strong enough to take on the world. They even briefly gave him a redemption arch, but all he's known for now is the Legacy virus. It makes it hard to be a fan of a character that played such an important role in my young life.

Salute Ben bruh, Wednesdays will never be quite the same. Really been listening to that guy weekly for 10+ years. From the very start of comics youtube. It's crazy to see the generation he raised w/ the recaps meanwhile some us were just there for the current event/industry talk w ppl our age.

I prefer Apocalypse, Emma Frost, Magneto, Juggernaut, Gorgon, and Exodus as good guys. I really hope they don't revert back to villainy. But I agree, that Gorgon was sorely mishandled. As for who I think it'd be? Idk, but Apocalypse is an Omega Level mutant, so he's WILDLY powerful and TRULY severely OP. So whoever is gonna be would also have to be an Omega and nearly as powerful, as the ONLY two people on this list that could even really be considered, are Cable & Exodus

As far as Gorgon goes, I definitely agree that he was mishandled...especially after one of the BEST Hickman X-Men issues (#4).

3 Characters that I doubt will win the tournament are Emma, Forge, and Laura. Mainly due to the fact that they will be featured in the upcoming X-Books for From The Ashes. Emma in Exceptional X-Men in September, and Forge and Laura in X-Force and NYX respectively in July.
I really enjoy Cable and Apocalypse stories!

If there were ever to be another Mr. Sinister, or another Mr. Sinister type of character aside from the other clones like Orbis Stalaris, Dr. Stasis, and Mother Righteous, and even Sinsiter clones, then make like Mr. Sinister have an actual child, maybe that he had or made in a lab or something like that, but he would be a child of Mr. Sinister, like of like Superboy in DC where he was the son of Lex Luthor and Superman and aged up, and this child of Mr. Sinister would, well he would have a name, but he would be called "Dr. Fraction" and he looks like Mr. Sinister but with a circle on his forehead and shapes on his body that are split into sections and fractions like 4 triangles on his bicepts that make up a diamond/rombus and other shapes on his body like squares, rectangles, triangles, circles, and other shapes all over his body. To fill the place of Mr. Sinister if they ever make a change like that, but that is unlikely.

I think genocide is the most likely candidate because he is the son of Apocalypse and he's pretty damn powerful Anything he will be a good fit For the new X-Men villain. Dani Moonstar and Emma, Forge is Unlikely because they don't want to become the next apocalypse and it's more likely they will refuse it.

I wish we could get a indepth, uninterrupted storyline of Genesis’ Civil War on Arrako. Especially the battle between Storm and Genesis. It was so rushed thru skipping parts and some parts didnt make sense (regarding continuity with X of Swords)
Wondering how could apocalypse smash exodus so easily? Classic exodus had nigh invulnerability, teleportation ect.. sure I’m not saying that he shouldn’t have won, but that boi exodus got smashed
..........I think Emma would be a great Apocalypse......not the mustache twirling type but a true ill make you better type. Gorgon would be cool too......and forge would be interesting.......

Super bummed about Cable not being a part of From The Ashes.
This whole concept of Apocalypse choosing an heir seems poorly conceived. I think it would be more interesting to integrate the more benevolent version of Apocalypse into the hero community (imagine having Apocalypse as an Avenger the next time Thanos pulls up) and to repatriate the Arakko Mutants to Earth society. Not to mention they seem to have just completely forgotten about the part where Apocalypse is an agent of the Celestials and their chosen "Celestial Gardener" who was getting the population of Earth ready for the next Celestial Host. It's going to take a lot to get me on board with this story. With how they rushed to the ending after HoX/PoX I'm not very confident in this direction.

If Im Apocalypse, there's only two real choices Angel and Exodus. Angel because he was groomed for this and Exodus because he's fanatical enough and powerful enough to get the job done. Apocalypse may not even need a death seed for Exodus, just get him on board and he'll fight to the death for you.
