- I took a trip to Loleta California and hit the streets in the shadows of the former SIlver Shamrock Factory. Come take a look at the history of a truly underrated horror gem!

It's always terrific to find other people who really love that great little movie.
It's getting late and I could use a drink...
So cool! I friggin Love Halloween 3. There is just something about it that sticks! Nice video!
Dr Lee Percussion I agree I love that movie I guess I love the whole Magic mysticism all that’s Interesting to me
This was my favorite out of all of the Halloween movies,it great to see it is getting a second look by a lot of people and that it is getting its just rewards as an inventive and very original awesome horror movie.
Wow that was awesome! Thank you so much for filming!!! \m/
I am very blown away that some of the Halloween 3 movie sets are looking the same today as in the movie and the back entrance to the silver shamrock factory has seen better days, really great video.
Awesome.... watching this movie again for the first time right this very minute.... with my mask on.
Love that The town is freaking creepy in real life too
Very cool! I appreciate the video segments added to show the before and after comparisons.
My favorite Halloween of them all! Thanks for this video!
This movie is actually a true story that foretold the future. #1 towns monitered by surveillance cameras, #2 factories run by robots, #3. Evil companies that build chip controlled electronic devices that rot peoples brains, in the film it was a Halloween mask but in reality it's a smartphone. And this film is nearly 40 years old. Makes you think about what was already known back then.
in so many ways this movie was ahead of its time. one of the MANY reasons why i love it.
Crikey O'Reilly. Still looks pretty much as it did back then....just more overgrown.
One of my favourite 80s horror films, that one. The computer age just getting going, and this film worked on that. Must have worked, 'cos it's still in my mind 30+ years on.
Great video! I'd love to go there. So sad to see the state of a town in that condition and reflecting back on how it appears in the movie. I really hope that iconic building doesn't get torn down. Thanks for sharing!
This was awesome, thanks for the video tour. Definitely one of my favorite movies. Such a devious story line and in my opinion one of the most underrated horror flicks. Great music as usual from John Carpenter!
Halloween's location got something special....
One of my favorite movies of all time. Still watch it several times per year. Listen to the soundtrack almost everyday while I work. Thanks for posting the video.
Sad to see the factory’s current state, things really seem to have gone downhill after Conal Cochran’s death. Such a shame ;p
It was a great man, a genius!
love this! awesome you found the garage doors and final processing ramp.
Loved Halloween 3!!
Awesome video and thank you for all the effort you put into this is much appreciated.
And honestly probably one of my all time favorite horror films.
People complain a out it becuase Michael Myers is not in it but its a whole film in its self and did a great job and a pretty good story line.
Epic video thank you!
Keep up the great work!!
''I think it's time for the marines''.
Halloween 3 should have been a stand alone movie and a whole series made out of it. Season of the Witch, Day of the Druids, Alter of Sacrifice.
Brilliant! One of my all time favourite movies this, a must watch every Halloween so this was great to see
That area looks much nicer at the time they made the movie than it does now.
sad to see the the silver shamrock factory ruined still after part 3
Nice job on the video.
Thank you for this video guys this brought back some good memories for me with this movie was a really big fan of H3 great video
Awesome! Great find
My favorite Halloween movie!!
Nice work man. Love this flick
Very cool Channel a lot of good stuff I like the detail and she go into these videos I have subscribed to you Channel
The should put a Halloween 3 poster in that bar..I fucking certainly would if i owned it.
Pretty amazing the town looks like it's been forgotten by time.
I like to watch the Halloween movies because of the idyllic US residential areas and their beautiful houses. Especially I liked the daytime shots with the Indian summer that only exists in North America. Today the Halloween films are too brutal for me. I think horror is also possible without slaughter. In the old movies you just saw the knife and heard a noise.
Time hates art... It’s sad to see how the passing years have made some of these landmarks almost unrecognizable...
Cool video. For some reason. The woman Linda sitting at the bar next to you looks like an actress that was in a few 80's horror flicks. I have been racking my brain thinking of which ones.
if I ever win the lottery I might consider moving down there for at least a while...pretty cool looking little town aswell and I can't believe supposedly the shamrock factory is up for auction or has been for a while, Who knows what will happen to that one day...they"ll probably end up tearing down unfortunately.
Please don’t
Santa mira is lolita ca.
Awesome video!!!!
Excellent!
I love this movie!
VERY cool bro!!! Thank You!
Very nice video. Thank you.
The last part was the best part.
U shoulda walk up ramp final inspection, cool video...
Totally cool!
NICE JOB! THANK YOU!
In Halloween 3 Dr Chalis was staying in a hotel with some interesting people,is it still a hotel or apartments now?
I've been to Loleta but I've never walked around back of the Factory. I was always worried I'd get in trouble. But you did it, so I think I probably will next time I go to check it out. Did you just walk back around? Did anyone say anything?
i just walked in back. i took the attitude that im never coming back and went WAY out of the way to get there. go big or go home, right?
Grew up in Loleta! ❤
Hella cool
AWESOME
The factory collasped during the earthquake on December 20th..
Looks like you were experiencing some trouble at the hotel just like Shawn Clark and Tommy Lee Wallace were.
Isn’t Santa Mira the town where the 1956 Invasion of the Body Snatchers movie took place?
The Silver Shamrock Factory sold in August 2021 so it will probably be knocked down very very soon.
DID YOU FIND CONAL COCHRAN???
nice
Where was the hospital scene filmed?
The exterior was a medical center in Lake View Terrace, Los Angeles, but it has since been demolished. Interiors were filmed at a hospital in Santa Clarita, which has also been demolished.
You got the toy store location wrong, the store was at the same location as the Buccaneer and where Halloween 2 was filmed. =)
Thanks for the input! I am sorry to say you're wrong on this one. I got my information directly from Director Tommy Lee Wallace and he personally has confirmed this is the location. If you watch the "horrors Hallowed grounds" special on the ScreamFactory special edition bluray he even goes inside the store on camera with Sean Clark. You should check it out!
Is the whole town abandoned?
not at tall! it is alive and well... small, but well.
Did Linda buy you a drink?
How is this film a Halloween film? and where's micheal Myers?
They should've quit after the 2nd film.all the rest was garbage in comparison.
thanks bro
