I live in the UK and when I visited my brother who was living in Pensauken NJ at the time, he took me to the real Haddonfield. He told me that it had been the inspiration for Halloween because one of the writers grew up there. It was an amazing town, and I'd so much love to go back there again.

Haddonfield is funny because when I would watch the movie as a child, I just knew they were referring to Haddonfield, NJ just because Haddonfield really looks like it does in the movie, especially at night. Also, the close proximity scared the crap out of me as a child because I knew it wasn't impossible for Michael to actually walk to my neighborhood and creep around lol

I am actually from the neighborhood where the Halloween movie was filmed in and see rare footage of inside the Myers house makes me a little jealous but I hope to one day enter it see for myself what it was like.

Thanks! The only thing with creating that scene is someone owns different parts (rooms) of the house and unless they're present, and give me permission, the doors inside are almost always locked. Maybe I'll get lucky one day!
Growing up, as a dumb kid, I didn’t know that when we visited my cousins in Pasadena, we were just a mile or two from key filming locations. It wasn’t until I was in my 20s when I became a fan of the franchise that I looked up these sites and realized how close they were to my cousins’ childhood home. Lots of neighborhoods in Pasadena give off Halloween vibes.
Was in Pasadena a few years ago…and at least back then (2019ish?) the homeowners of the Strode house had a box with a fake pumpkin out specifically so tourists can take their picture there.
I live around there. Today I dressed up my 5 year old as Michael Myers’s and we went to take pictures in the house and walk around. It was really funny
I went on a haunted Hollywood tour a few years ago and it covered a Myers house location some street close to sunset Blvd That's a replica to the old Myers house and across from it is the house from Halloween 2 and nightmare on elm street, but some Day i would love to Visit Pasadena and see all these locations.
We go to the small pop up events right near that house at Sugar Mynt Gallery . Cool little place that has multiple art exhibits and small market pop ups several times a year Usually someone dressed as Myers will pop up in that house or come out the door when people are gathered outside taking pics during one of those events

I was surprised as well. I didn't get to check out Judith's room, but there's a cool reason behind that is that part of the house on the 2nd floor belongs to the director of Trick R Treat, Michael Dougherty! And he's a very nice guy and at times when he's on the office and visitors take pictures, he'll pop up in the window with a Myers Mask on 😆 he loves it just as much as us fans do.
Did you know that Lynda's house was also used as the opening scene for Mommas family as mommas house? Did you visit the SugarMint gallery behind the Myers house? It's pretty cool in there, you can't turn a corner without seeing Michael Myers face somewhere!
I have.. and not entirely sure how I feel about it yet. There's a lot to this trilogy and I think to understand it's true meaning, it has to be watched in conjunction to the original trilogy. I know they wanted to create an anthology, but this was the wrong movie to recreate that. I think there will be one more movie after this.
@@explorewithtao I understand what you're saying!! I loved the way they based it off the first Halloween, IMO it's getting cringy. I didn't like the ending, I think they both should have died, also they crucified him like Jesus 🤔 If someone remakes Halloween it won't be for many many years.
I think with the whole thing about "the town getting involved" and the strange happenings around Haddonfield will play into the next movie, if they decide to make it. I think Tommy Lee Wallace discussed that he wanted to write a story about the 'spirit' of Michael Meyers living on, and there would be a person who steals the Meyers mask and goes on a Haddonfield murdering spree... I think that's what they were trying to do in Halloween Ends. I don't think it's over yet. I also think a good idea would be to go back and look through the years of Michael from age 10 to 25 years old with Dr. Loomis leading up to his eventual escape.

theres a deleted scene that shows laurie strode inside in her living room with a towel on her head. that interior was filmed inside the actual freddy kruger elm street house 1428 N. Genesee Ave. freddy house and micheal myers house in the same film and the OG houses too. i feel like no one really knows about this so spread the word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's also a scene (very quick) where you see Dr Loomis talking and you can spot the Nightmare house in the background 👀 Gotta have a sharp eye though.

theres a deleted scene that shows laurie strode inside in her living room with a towel on her head. that interior was filmed inside the actual freddy kruger elm street house 1428 N. Genesee Ave. freddy house and micheal myers house in the same film and the OG houses too. i feel like no one really knows about this so spread the word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's also a scene (very quick) where you see Dr Loomis talking and you can spot the Nightmare house in the background 👀 Gotta have a sharp eye though.
