i dont know what it is about this town, but it was a perfect location, love the fact that most of the locations are still there. i am glad to see people are rethinking halloween 3 and recognizing it was a pretty good flick
You are a Godsend!!!Thanks ever so much for posting these filming locations for my favorite movie in the Halloween series!!!You're the best and you get a million likes (if I could) from me!!
I first saw Halloween III back in 1983 when I was 13 years old. After watching it then I was like, what in the heck did I just watch? Fast forward 30 years, the movie was ahead of it's time and can be somewhat related to todays corporatism.
Thank you so much!!! This is AWESOME!!! It's great to see this under-appreciated film get some love on the internet. I've been enjoying watching H3: SOTW steadily gain momentum on the internet over the years. It's NOT a perfect film, but I think all of us fans of this film can agree that it has a certain charm that has stayed with us. DoomTownGrafx, you ROCK!!!
Made a vid similar to this. Makes me wanna go back to Loleta! And yes it is the town time forgot, Nicely put. The old factory and abandoned railroads speak of a busier time.oh and btw, their cheese is phenomenal!!! I like how you backed it with original music.
This is such a spectacular video. Yours is the first video I watched of the filming locations of this great movie. I always wanted to visit these sites and your great video was my motivation to get out there Finally made it out there and it didn’t disappoint in any way. Thanks again for such a great video
† i cant beleave my eyes what im watching im one of the biggest HalloweeN fans my friend you did such a wonderful job Bringing us the locations all i can say pure AWSOME !! Stay Save and allways Stay Scary Criss!!!!!!!!
I have to admit that I hated this movie when it first came out in 1983. That was mainly because it had no relation to the first two movies except in title. I appreciate the movie more now that I'm older. Ed O'Herlihy was perfectly cast as the low-key, but diabolical Cochran. This a cool video tour of the filming location. Thanks for sharing.
Daniel B And it's that closed-minded thinking on why this movie flopped. There WAS going to be a different Halloween movie every year and that was scrapped because people didn't have the necessary intellect to expand their weak minds. So, thanks for nothing, Danny boy.

I remember watching this film as a kid and I hated it. I wanted to see Myers. Now as an adult it has become one of my favorite films.

This film has a great menacing feel about it not present in the others...under rated gem.👍

Wow! Great job, Thanks for sharing that!
Your driving around shooting through the open window is creepy too. Kinda reminds me of Myers in that state car in the first film.

very cool....halloween 3 very under rated film..superb!
I never saw the film, so had no idea it was filmed in Loleta. I used to live there. Thanks--that was fun.
Halloween 3, might be a nerdy film but I happen to like it.
Humboldt County seems to be a very creepy area. The original Salem's Lot was also filmed there in Ferndale.

Nice job
a remake of this movie would be kool in 3d
latino heat yeah and they need to rename the title
Screw 3d just remake it
I live in Loleta. Would be cool to get Stacey Nelkin and Tom Atkins to come visit and then film them checking out the old locations.
i live in fortuna
anyone get the lyrics to the silver samrock song?
Halloween III is great.
They still have the motel Wow looks like apartments nowadays but there Still Standing Unbelievable
Why can't this movie be release in blue -ray with bonus features? Like the making and other stuff?
Daniel B It came out in '82
This looks like Morristown TN
This movie as aged very well. I would like to stay in one of the rooms by the gas station for one night and raise pure hell.
It's like John Carpenter's masterpiece of a score is better than the movie
The entire town looks deserted, no traffic or people in the streets just like in the movie.
because there is a population of 1113
Wow, put this video on mute and see what affect this video has with and without music. wow.
name of the town is "loleta" ...something ain't right...
The gas station has an Obama sign.
Nope. That's a Firestone sign.
Still don't feel right without my boi Michael myers in it he was the reasoned we feared halloween when we was younger
