Hi Nadine! ❤ I just wanted to say how lovely it was having you chat in French to the customer that was learning to knit when you were in the shop the other day 😊 Fingers crossed you can finish your second sock trouble free
@@KarenMcaulley-ch3jz thank you 🥰 My French is rusty but I do like to practice when I get a chance. Thanks again for all your help ❤️
Oh wow, I bet it’s perfect for Seattle’s weather!
I have a Cowichan sweater coat !!! Mine has orcas ❤️ I’m in Seattle so practically in the neighborhood. A friend was volunteering at a community coat drive and it was donated but it wasn’t looking it’s best . She recognized it has hand knit and saved it from the goodwill bin to see if we could find a better home . We gave it a good clean and a shave and it’s back on track . The makers tag in it tells who the knitter is .
Wonderful selection of projects, loved knitting through your video.
Thank you so much 😊
So nice to hear someone local talk about their makes. If you're in Murwillumbah again over the next few days - a friend and I are having an exhibition of our weaving at the Small Works Gallery in Commercial Rd. The opening is tonight (Friday 4-7pm, Karen is coming) and we are there until next Thursday. It would be lovely to meet you in person.
@@yarnaboutyarn that sounds amazing! My cold has worsened but I maybe I can manage. ❤️
@@handcraftswithnadine hope you feel better soon. We’re here until Thursday next week. 9:30-4 every day
Hi from Norway. Just found you and will come back. I also have a podcast, but its in Norwegian 🙂 Love your different projects and are looking forward to see more in the future
Thank you so much ❤️ I will try to watch your podcast even though I will not know what you are saying 😂 I’m sure I will still enjoy looking at your projects!
The FEN dress looks exactly like the Hinterland.
@@barbararadzeviciusbondi4150 thank you, I will look it up :)
Hi! I'm a new subscriber after YT suggested your video to me. I was delighted to see that you are a Canadian living down under. I'm a Canadian who grew up in NZ:) Would you recommend the yarn from Custom Woolen mills? It does seem like it pills quite a bit. Years ago I used to order roving from CWM for Waldorf dolls. I had forgotten they existed! I do see that a Canadian store sells Plötulopi wool. I'm interested in dipping my toes into unspun yarn knitting:)
@@flaxandfiberfarmhouse hello! I have not used their yarns, only the unspun. If you try it I would LOVE to hear how you go. I also used to make Waldorf dolls! I would also love to hear how you go with Plötulopi ❤️
@@handcraftswithnadine sorry, I meant the unspun, not their yarn:) That's neat that you also used to make Waldorf dolls! My older girls are around the age of your girls. I remember diy Waldorf dolls were a big thing back in the days of the crafting blogs (Soulemama, etc!)
@@flaxandfiberfarmhouse I had an Etsy shop called Wooly Roo Dolls for a few years. Yes, my November Jacket is pulling like crazy, but maybe if you used the 6 strands together it would be better.
