I'm a Supertramp FREAK! There's not one bad song! You're right by saying the shlyrics are introspective. Hey! I just noticed you're up to 33K subs! Congrats man! I'm 55 and just getting ready to start vanlife! I've been dreaming about it for years. Gonna have a channel too! Remember Biz, always speak positivity! It will get you everywhere! Count me as a Supertramp freak also! I've been listening to the first 6 or 7 Supertramp albums regularly since they were released. They never seem to get old.
@@ememnicholas565 My sister and I were just saying that same thing about a week ago. They don't get old and I think I know every word of every song. I have Cannonball stuck in my head right now!

59 here. I painted the cover of this album and still have the painting somewhere. The first album I listened to on earphones from front to back. A real trip.
Such a genuine reaction ! You are right when you say its FIRE. Saw them twice. Absolutely the most incredibly talented musicians of their time. This is a really deep concept album that is worth listening to many times. You will get more out of it very time you do.
Every now and again watching a song being reacted to gives me a whole new appreciation for it. So clean, clear, interesting and original. Thanks.
Trippy for sure. And the chime is a Glockenspiel. These guys have a lot of unusual instruments but put it all together. So tight. So creative.
They even use a "wet-finger-rubbed-round-the-edge-of-a-wine-glass" in this one! There's a video of this which shows it at one point. 😄

I think this came out in the 70's or 80's it's a little far I am 65 now I was 17/18 when this came out it's not my fave album but hey it's pretty awesome! Now look at the album with a piano under snow on cover it's my favourite OMG it's unbelievable!!!!!!!! "even in the quietest moments please please listen to it PUre class!!!!!!
The most epic song on this album is “Crime of the Century.” If you like the sax, and I know you do… wait for it…

Woohoo! Supertramp! I absolutely love the middle part of this song. You need to listen to this entire album. I used to travel with this album to test out stereo equipment. Thanks for reacting Biz, wish I could give you 100 likes!
"Dreamer" was one of the first Supertramp tunes I remember hearing on the radio as a kid back in the seventies. One thing FM rock radio dj's used to do back then whenever an artist released a new record was to also play songs from their back catalog. So even though Supertramp released Crime of the Century in 1974, dj's would play songs from it in 1979 when Breakfast in America topped the charts. Don't worry about messing up words and such. Everybody does that at some time or another. It's part of learning, expanding vocabulary and all that stuff.

Love me some Supertramp... Lots of great suggestions already made. If I had to pick one, it would be Even in the quietest Moments..in fact the entire album is 🔥 It's 2 singers.

Brilliant band. So many great songs: "Lady", "Even in the Quietest Moments", "Rudy", "Take the Long Way Home", "Give a Little Bit"... and perfect production that fits them down to the ground. Their first two albums were patchy (they hadn't settled on a style or line-up), but there's a solid run of four albums after that ("Crime of the Century", "Crisis, What Crisis?", "Even in the Quietest Moments", and "Breakfast in America" where they could do no wrong.

Supertramp is a fun band. Nobody sounds like them. One very cool thing is all of their songs doesn't even sound alike.

"Rudy" is an amazing song on this album, but every song is a gem. Their best album IMHO
