I wish you would consider giving us a tour of your milkhouse, and maybe the process of transferring the milk from your holding tank to the tanker that takes it away.
I just had a pedicure yesterday. I should have stopped by and had you do it Eric. I hope the cows feet feel as good as mine do after a good nail trimming. Clever idea putting the panels on the conveyor. Now for sure it will not snow. Love the cloud of steam coming from the manure. Great video as usual. Thanks.
Every farm has a "recycling" spot. Stuff you just may need someday for something. To good to throw away, and shortly after you do, you want it back! Great video!
We've had some pretty mild temperatures so far this season. Your cows get some good care, nice to see them getting it, you know your cows for sure. Good one Eric, I want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.
Lovely looking cows. I'd like to hear more about your breeding policy. And the herd data in general. Sires used, average days in milk for the herd. Yield. Conception rate for the fixed time AI. Fixed time program. Etc. Thanks
Continue to be amazed at what it takes to put milk in my fridge. Love the scrounge for plastic cover for the conveyor. Big year for your farm and for all of us that follow. Merry Christmas dude to you and your family.
I'm impressed by the cow care effort on modern Dairy Farms. It's a change. It's something I have seen on UA-cam that we should start doing more of. I do believe in cows living in green pastures instead of pens in a barn. But I may be asking for everything to be perfect.
Christmas blessings to you and your family. Thank you for hours of entertainment in the last year. Milked cows all my life but good to see how it’s done over the pond. 🤗
Hello, If you have a dog, you can use the hoof trimming as treats. When we have our horses trimmed we leave the trimmings on the ground for the dogs. Love the videos keep up the good work and God bless and stay safe.
Merry Christmas!!! It is my wish Eric, that you and Emily and your dad and all of your family have a peaceful, joyous and merry holiday season!! Dave plocher Illinois
Idk about size, but milk has to be cooled to 38°f within 3 hours, and can only be stored on the farm for around 48 hours before it is shipped to the processor. The farm tanks have a recording thermometer to verify temps between pick ups. Great question!
What about making a concrete bunk to just store the manure until you can spread it when you have the time and the weather is right. Make it with a drain into a field that’s tillable. Also you can probably use the manure spreader as your mode of transportation.
I had to laugh, when you went back for the second load there was a cow at the manger with the look of "a tractor just went by but no feed was put in front of me"! With all the manure and wood chips you put on your fields your organic matter in your soil must be though the roof.
Organic matter takes years to build up. With natural decomposition, a ton of matter per acre turns in to a few pounds in a year, and on a % basis is under 1% per year. Strange paradigm, but it's nature.
7:40 ish.. the covers for the conveyor. To make life easier, you should have made a few 'L' shapes from old tires. screw the the "lids" into one side of tire, and the other side of tyre into conveyor. Badda bing, a cheap, strong flexible hinge with easy access for oiling the chains etc... to clear the snow, just lift the lid. Love your channel. Wish i worked on your farm.
There's enough chain "open" to lube it, but not enough for snow/ice to be a problem. As long as they don't crowd the conveyor, they should be good. Great idea. 👍
Was wondering just after the cows hoofs are ground so nice and smooth are they a little more prone to slipping for a bit or does it make any difference? Wishing you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and all the best in 2024. First Christmas in the new house must be exciting!
As I sit here at a desk job watching these videos thinking to myself, man I would love to drive a tractor and skid steer for my job instead of sit here at this desk, I wonder if at zero dark thirty when you are getting up to do things on your farm as the rest of the world sleeps, do you ever say to yourself, man I wish I had a desk job :)
That was a steaming pile of...uhhh....manure, yeah, that's it, that you were spreading. 🙂 Unlike this vid, which was its usual wholesome content. Great stuff as always 10th Gen.
Theres a Hoof Doctor who has a channel & I keep getting suggestions to watch. Every vid of his is SO gross. Hoof infections & injuries & mal developed. I never watch but the suggestions jusr keep on coming. !
I don't think a lot of people realize just how good they have it. I know you cows do.
I wish you would consider giving us a tour of your milkhouse, and maybe the process of transferring the milk from your holding tank to the tanker that takes it away.
That would be interesting
He did in a very well produced video, about two years ago. Its on his channel
Merry Christmas to all!!
Sure enjoy the channel!
Hope Y'all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! GOD BLESS !!!
It's amazing how much work can be done before the sun rises🤗
Dairy farmers get thier 8 hour day before lunchtime for most people! And then do another 8 when they are not busy.
There comes a time when there is a use for that "stuff" we all have laying around. 😂😂 Good job! Merey Christmas to you and all your family.

I've been to New Zealand. Wonderful country once you get used to the strange sensation of being upside down.
Every farm has a "recycling" spot. Stuff you just may need someday for something. To good to throw away, and shortly after you do, you want it back! Great video!
The steam coming off the spreader looked cool
My daughters and I never miss a video! Keep at it!
Thank you and your family for sharing the farm life with us all. My mother and enjoy your videos.
Lots of different jobs done, you're a busy farmer. But that's farming you just never get done!
I thought for sure you would find a Dew up in the chicken barn, oh well maybe you will get one for Christmas.
Thanks for the video Eric.
Eric, morning.... It's surprising the amount of work that goes into getting me milk... Thanks for what you do... Dave
Hi Eric and dad beautiful video I like how you explain everything as you go and as always you and your dad and families be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Continue to be amazed at what it takes to put milk in my fridge. Love the scrounge for plastic cover for the conveyor. Big year for your farm and for all of us that follow. Merry Christmas dude to you and your family.
Not that hard. Just go to the grocery store and get some milk. People like this do way too much when we have stores

The steam coming off the manure is wild
I hope those girls love their pedicures! thanks for sharing your dairy operations with us!
Eric your commitment to your dairy life is impressive, always something to do! Happy Holiday to you and the family!
Isn't it a great feeling to use some of that stuff you had saved in the recycling center? Feels like finding money in the couch.
Nice video! Thanks Eric!
Work is never “done” on the farm. Great work Eric.
Hope u and the family have a great Christmas 🎄
Christmas blessings to you and your family. Thank you for hours of entertainment in the last year. Milked cows all my life but good to see how it’s done over the pond. 🤗
Lots of projects completed today. Have a blessed and Merry Christmas from Oklahoma.
Keep up the good work Eric
How is the new Home going? anything you would have done differently now you have been living in it for a while?
My dad used two of those size jugs as fuel tanks on the old farm truck. Lol. Sat right behind the cab and worked really well.
Merry Christmas to you and yours entire family. It’s cold in berks county today also. Love your content.
I'm glad you got colder weather enough to spread some manure on the fields. Have a great Christmas and New Years Day!
Hello,

Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🐄 Man!!!!
If you would show where the milk goes from the cow and how it’s stored and eventually sold I would appreciate it. Thank you
He definitely has in the past😊 Might just have to search for it but it’ll come up in video rotation soon enough lol
It goes in the tank.
How big of a tank does it go into and how cold does the tank stay and how long can they hold on to it. You know normal questions.
@pricekimbrough5310 Google is your friend. Not that hard to find your answers

Beautiful farm. Great video. Spoiled girls :). Merry Christmas.
Hey, just got my new 10th Gen hoodie and t-shirt… Representing out here in Oregon… love them. Great quality. Thanks Eric and team…
Awesome. Thank you!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you 10th Generation Dairyman and also to your Wife and your Family as well Nice video.
For anyone interested in a deep dive into hoof trimming, I recommend Nate the Hoof Guy.
Your fields must be very high in organic matter between the manure and wood shavings. Would be interested in seeing your soil analysis.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR'S TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 🥰🥰
another great video
That morning fart cloud would have made for some great overhead drone footage.
NICE SHOW 2DAY 😊
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
cant help thinking the gate at 1:35 is subtly training then to barge fences as "they are easy" LOL 😂 🐄🐄
can you consider adding more jack russell content really love your dog.

But after 10 generations I imagine there has been buildup making some great soil.
Very interesting video
Awesome video Eric. Sure hope you and your family has a Merry Christmas .December 21 th

It would be so cute to market hoof trimming as ✨Moo Pedicures✨on the caddy the cows get into.

Could a group of dairies start a business to make compost like Black Cow?
The cows dont seem to give a rats about getting tipped over and feet messed with.
Hi, Eric!
Wow so much poop to deal with. Merry Xmas
Crap doth happen. I think Shakespeare said that 🤔
In reference to my previous comment, my boss said that union stewards have NO place on dairy farms.
You should be trimming all cows twice a year.

Could of put hinges and latches on the poly carb
Eric, what are your thoughts of the change to Milwaukee drill/driver from the DeWalt some time ago?
Is there a reason you don't have free stalls at the heifers barn?
Spreading manure. It's what happens when you lose your jump shot. Merry Christmas.
😂 classic city boy who drinks soy milk from almonds
Where there’s MUCK there’s BRASS
Do you use the same bucket for feed and manure?
No, they have separate buckets.
No we definitely want to avoid doing that
Hello sir I am from India and I want to do work with you
