  • Finally making some visible progress on the old rig. Feels good to be working on the truck, even if it's eleventeenbillion degrees outside.
    thanks for watching my stuff.

    Great video! I love your International. I've forgotten keys are in my hand when looking for them, so I can relate to the gas situation with the F-150.

    Been watching all there’s restore videos and enjoying them also just a suggestion if there is a extra port on the tank add a quick release so then you can connect a air hose for tires or cleaning use

    Wow that’s a lot progress. You’ve got just about all of the brake system repaired with new air lines. Just gotta figure out how you’re gonna have to tie them up. Funny story there at the end it’s always the gas.

    Good video. I'm restoring 1985 9670 the little stuff nickel and dimes you. Was a 100ft anough air line? I've found using Map Gas portable torche works great heating up fittings and is alot cheaper and easier then bringing oxy ectlyne torches out. So funny at the end not the first time I've heard of something like that. Haha

    Any concern regarding the new hoses up front that have no metal covering. IE: Inspections, DOT, wear and tear etc? Project coming along nicely, looking good!

    • @BrokenWrenches
      @BrokenWrenches  11 місяців тому

      thanks for watching!!! im not super concerned, if you saw how bad a lot of the local dump truck drivers are rolling around in !!!!! if they ever call me out I will willingly fix the concerns.

    Do these things have Jake brakes?

    • @BrokenWrenches
      @BrokenWrenches  9 місяців тому

      that’s dependent on if the owner specified that option or not when new. pretty much any of the large diesels can be fitted with jake brakes. this particular engine has not had them installed. thanks for watching!
