    Absolutely loving GT7 in the best graphics list across all such videos....People tend to bash GT cause it puts more emphasis on photorealism than beautiful and attractive art style like FH, Grid or NFS, so it might feel stale on first sight...but as you play it more and more, you start to notice the insane attention to details in its car models, car materials, sky boxes, track rendering and lighting...that's when you realize how good it actually is and best in class HDR implementation is cherry on top

    • @crestofhonor2349
      @crestofhonor2349 Рік тому +1

      I'm more interested to see how FM8 does up against GT7 since that will be a more realistic track based racer instead of a massive open world. How will the detail seen in FH5 translate into the smaller tracks in FM8. The early trailers look great but I want to see it in more gameplay running on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Also curious to see how the RT effects the visuals since they can be reportedly be turned on during gameplay instead of just replays

      @vyasrushi5177 Рік тому +4

      @Crestofhonor 23 I expect FM8 to have better track side details while GT7 to have better lighting and Car models...it would be a close contest at the end, for sure

      I think it's absolutely ridiculous that GT7 gets knocked for accuracy by all the sheeple who don't know what they're looking at. It's pathetic. They really don't have a clue what great graphics are if they're fooled by simple flashy nonsense
      FH5 isn't even better looking than GT sport let alone gt7. The things gt nails will always be far more important than flashiness or slightly better ground texture detail on parts of the track you don't even see lol
      Lighting is the only part of graphical tech that is unavoidable. You ALWAYS see light in a game environment while details is something you only notice when close up or at a glance. That is why even gt sport looks better than fh5 IMO. I'm far more amazed when I see gt sport or gt7 than any other racing game because it's lighting is so ridiculously beautiful and accurate
      Forzas lighting is an absolute joke in comparison and same with its image quality.
      The other issue tho is lighting details just don't translate to youtube. It's one of the most granular and fine details in graphics when done right and yourube just can't reproduce stuff Ike that

      @JD_Disorder98 so are horizon and callisto protocol and they're still the best looking games this year by a mile. Sometimes cross Gen doesn't hurt games, other times it does
      The thing is none of the games yet really take advantage of ps5 or sx except Metro Exodus. And you can't really call exodus cross Gen because the ps5 version of it cannot work on last Gen because it's lighting is ray traced. That's why the pc version cannot be played without an RTX card, you'd need to play the older version of the game
      Once we get more games that literally won't run without ray tracing, that'll be the real end of cross gen

    One of my best games ever HFW, and I didn't play the first game, I got the game in my PS5 bundle, got bored and played and fell in love with the game. I like the side quests more than the main story.

      You probably would've liked the main quest more if you played the first game. And the sun hawk side quest would've been better too
      You should play Zero dawn too. The only negative about ZD is its not as convenient as Fw when it comes to your inventory management. But rhe story is arguably better, or would've been if you didn't spoil things by playing fw first lol

    First I'd love to see more retro best Technology and Graphics lists because that era of gaming up until the 7th generation is very interesting technically. I also heavily agree with the list and it's interesting to see how much better Portal RTX performs on even a 3060 vs a 2070. I think It's a good showcase of the improvements Nvidia made on RT hardware for the 30 series. However the performance on AMD cards is absolutely unacceptable, it should of been much better even with AMD's worse RT performance. Seeing my RTX 3060 laptop outperform the 6900 XT by a wide margin is honestly astounding and shouldn't be happening. Curious to see how other titles fare with performance concerning RTX remix as it's one of my most anticipated modding tools for old fixed function games. It has so much potential to add a ton to older games without having to rework or remake the entire game. Microsoft was disappointing for this year but their next year for content is already looking better with multiple games that seem to be coming like Forza Motorsport 8. I also think GT7, despite it's many flaws, should be the industry example of how to do HDR. Too many games have a lacking or confusing HDR system that could be better. There are other great HDR titles but more need to embrace it as OLED and MiniLED displays become more and more common in people's houses. I think embracing additional HDR standards like Dolby Vision, in microsoft's example, HDR 10+, and better HDR 10 support. Sony should really adopt Dolby Vision Support along side their embracement of HGIG and HDR 10 to help bring a better HDR experience.
    My biggest hope going forward is more ray tracing adoption in the video game industry as it's one of my most favorite tech in modern gaming. Even though it's expensive performance wise, it absolutely solves a lot of the issues traditional rasterization has in video games when it concerns dynamic lighting. It might not do a ton in linear games with more artist driven assets and lighting because baking lighting is quite common as seen in titles like LOU Remastered but it will do wonders for more dynamic and open games, especially ones that use a dynamic time of day. UE5's focus on lighting and geometry is also very anticipated for me seeing it's results in fortnite. Can't wait to see Lumen and Nanite become more common once major UE5 titles start releasing.

    Tbh Scorn should be an honorable mention if not #5. Best art style this year by a mile and the best visuals on series X to date. Frankly I think it looks much better than a plague tale but plague tale has variety in its visuals which counts for something I guess
    Also think gt7 looks miles better than a plague tale tho too.
    Agree with the top 2 for sure. Horizon is an easy win but callisto protocol looks shockingly good especially for a multiplatform game
    Callisto protocol is the first multiplatform game since Metro Exodus that can actually compete with exclusive titles graphically. Usually multiplats aren't even close to the same in quality but callisto did something amazing by making UE4 look far better than anything on UE5 LOL best facial animations in the business too

      I agree about GOW and TLOU. Those games are pretty clearly rooted in last gen PS4 based graphics. GOW on PS5 doesn't do anything amazing that couldn't be slightly paired back on PS4 which is seen in the visuals. TLOU does also look very similar to TLOU2 in just about every way. Yes the baked lighting looks great as always but it doesn't add a ton visually to make it look like it should of been a PS5 exclusive. It looks like it could of run on PS4 with some slightly paired back settings. My guess is they wanted people to have a reason to buy the game on PS5 and if it released on PS4 no one would of bought it over the remaster. Plus the price for it sucked, it should of been $40 maximum and $30 ideally. Stray was an entirely new game, albeit quite short, but cost less than half of TLOU on PS5

      “Lazy devs” and “terrible crunch” - two conflicting arguments depending on whether it’s Wednesday or Tuesday. Nothing lazy about the dev of gow or TLOU remake. Yes, they need to run on last gen consoles because there’s still a massive market there. Where do you think AAA budgets come from if not that broadest install base? Still - if you think making a game exclusive to ps5 is less lazy than making games cross gen compatible with multiple rendering options including 40hz mode for ps5, then, sir, you’re a moron.
      What’s lazy is taking a “well earned” break from your sedentary hobby to insult hundreds of hard workers on social media during an unnecessarily long sh*t.

    • @TheNegativeDude
      @TheNegativeDude Рік тому +1

      @@MarkArnoldMusic nah, what's moronic is blindly defending lazy devs in a video where the #1 spot went to a game with a massive upgrade in visuals despite being cross gen.
      There is a reason why TLOU and GOW arent in his top five. he himself said they are not a big leap over their predecessors. Put TLOU next to TLOU2 and see if people can tell a difference. Why? These are $70 games. You want me to jerk them off because they add a 40 fps option? yay? GG put in hero lighting, a brand new lighting engine, brand new character models, a massive increase in foliage, water, and texture quality. We should be celebrating those who go above and beyond. not making excuses for devs who didnt.
