- Darrell Brooks, the accused Waukesha Christmas parade attacker, said he didn't want to return to the courtroom until he received medical treatment for the bruise he has and the small cut. The judge said he can see the nurse during the lunch break at noon but a bruise doesn't warrant medical treatment immediately.

imagine crying for a nurse over a tiny bruise after you mowed down a bunch of people in a car...on purpose.
He said a band-aid at minimum. What else would be needed for a tiny cut? A foot rub? Hospitalization? He demands his rights and wants but took innocent people's lives away and left others hurting for the rest of their lives.

There's nothing a nurse can do for a bruise as nothing is needed. He clearly has full movement of the arm in question and as far as his paper cut goes, let him wash his hands and give him a bandaid. He doesn't need 'medical attention' et al. It's just another 1 of his many delay tactics. He's putting off the inevitable GUILTY on all counts!!! and off to prison from jail he goes where he's just a # and another one of Bubba's wives.

It’s a real shame Wisconsin does not have the death penalty. He plows through children and adults in a Christmas parade and is now demanding a nurse for a bruise? I have watched every moment of the trial and he is enjoying torturing the victims and their families.
I'd love to know how many times before now he's sought medical treatment for a bruise.
I think death penalty is a cop out and it’s a way people avoid accountability especially with such a serious crime like mass murder. A life sentence on the other hand forces him to think about what he’s done and if he doesn’t comply to rules and orders it will be met with brute force. He’s the defiant type and most of the time they are thrown into solitary confinement because nobody got time for that shit. If you’ve ever been in solitary for more than a week you’d know it’s one of the worse punishments anyone could ever experience. No more freedom, completely cut off from the outside world, and with nothing to do he will slowly lose his mind until he dies. Sounds better and more appropriate than a quick death to escape the consequences.
The state plays the long game, his bruise in this instance is nothing compared to what’s coming for him.

He murdered six people in/at a parade but he's playing the role of a lawyer/US citizen, whose rights are being trampled on, and at the same time he wants to claim sovereign immunity and being outside of any jurisdiction that can lawfully prosecute him. There are already laws on the books the judge is allowing this, she could overrule her previous ruling that Mr. Brooks is competent to defend himself.

@@robertswift6101 I know this is old... but I've watched this entire trial, and I'm pretty well versed in the legal world. She was MORE than fair to him. He is not a victim here. He tried to battle with nonstop bad faith arguments. The problem is that he knows better, and that makes it so much worse. He is the living embodiment of someone who can not see beyond himself. He can't begin to feel sympathy for anyone other than himself. Since he has no sympathy for anyone, I suggest you have none for him. He would run you down and then laugh about it while acting like a clown just as he did. He ran over dozens of people and killed 10. He should've, at the very least, been as respectful as possible in this trial.

When my primary students ask to go to the nurse for a small scratch I tell them to get a water paper towel. This cures everything. 😅
The bruise is self inflicted. The fact it's on his forearm and between his tattoos is a clear indicator he's either pinched or punched it. Forearm bruising is basically impossible to occur unless from an insect bite or pulling away from someone.

Someone of authority must jump in to preserve the legality of this trial, the Judge has been patient and overly attentive to the ridiculous comments, misunderstandings, and manipulative behavior of this defendant. If the constitution provides for a fair and speedy trial, that is both for defendant and for the state. If this improper conduct is not stopped it is being promoted, sadly.

Didn't he get the cut/bruise when he angrily swiped papers away ??. Apart from that, my FAVOURITE moments in this trial were when she muted him MID-RANT - that drove him up the wall !!. He really hated her using the mute-button anyway but whe she purposely did it right in the middle of one of his 'speeches' (rants/ravings/gibberish etc, etc) he'd go absolutely TONTO !!. It was delightfully hilarious as Judge Darrow continued with whatever speech/talk/address he'd rudely interrupted but the screen would be showing the Princess Darrell raging at the bailiffs because they were his sole audience - I sincerely hope showed it emerges that these poor bailiffs told the cretin to 'Shut the **** up !' as they were covered by the moron being muted !.
