Jip, his mother is an enabler. If you do not teach your children to take responsibility for actions since they are little and you always cover for them, then THIS is what you get for it. Mamas that cover for their kids enable them to fine tune lies and always walk away from whatever they do. His mother doesn’t get my sympathy. Sorry.

Dinh's face was completely transformed with his mouth hanging open, crying hysterically when he was sentenced to 29 years. The mother's plea to sentence her instead of her son was her version of "my son is a good boy and he wouldn't hurt a fly."

I work at a preschool and there is this little boy who i kept thinking about watching this. He’s spoiled, disrespectful, has no manners and I couldn’t help but wonder what will become of him. His parents are so similar. Passive and rude like everyone else is to blame for their sons actions. It’s so dangerous when spoiled kids aren’t held accountable and I’ve seen it so many times year after year:/

ITS SO BAD! Seeing her want to try to take on his punishment and blaming herself for his actions is the most pathetic and heartbreaking thing I’ve ever seen. Sorry mommy, your baby needs to learn what accountability is, because you sure did fail at parenting him, and he only cares about the jury not believing him. No extension of gratitude for his family’s support, he should have gotten life.

A psycho & a narcissist, that's what he is. I wished he was put to jail for life, not only for 29 years as he took a life of a person just for the thrill of it. It was all about him--how he was disappointed with the jury! Narcissists are always and eternally about themselves and no one else. They get their feedings from enablers such as his wife. They are empty inside and need excitement to feel alive. Most of all, they cannot feel anyone's pain as they have no empathy. We could clearly see this during the entire trial and pre-trial.
