Dude awesome. I feel like I’ve figured out most of what Danny does until the 4:17 mark. That outro pattern is so difficult. It seems like a steady double kick but the toms and snare hits are tough to place.
Thanks man! Keep working away at it! I would definitely recommend slowing down the song and trying your best to pick out what he's playing. It can take a bit of time to figure it out sometimes but if you are patient with it you'll get it. What I am playing in that part isn't even 100% accurate but I gave it a shot!

Another idea for a vid would be how to play smaller parts of these songs, like the tom pattern in the first verse. Can you get monetized if there is no music, just you playing?
I believe that could be a possibility. I'm not 100% sure about how the application process to become a parter would go for me though because pretty much all my videos are copyrighted. But that would definitely be a cool idea to consider.

Tool is firmly rooted in hermeticism... everything you just listed off are hermetic principles. the entire Lateralus album is about that.
