Greg thx again for a great video. I like very much hold a note then Fry then coming to the note stronger exercise it's really teaches the body how much energy is needed to have that sound clear I wonder if there's any similar exercise for overdrive mode in exercises. i can go to A4 but in singing the words" ton"and "waiting" i don't like my tone and it's sounds like mix even while singing in G4
Every video in this channel introduces me new singing techniques and inspires me bit by bit. So is this live stream. I was following your 'creak' exercise to hit high notes with density (This is the missing piece of technique I longed for). At some points, I sang a powerful high note meanwhile I felt that my vocal fold was stretching, but not itchy, painful or uncomfortable. Is it the right feeling that shows the effort I have to spend to reach high notes (above A4) in heavy mix voice? And with some of these exercises, I felt my voice are tired and I cannot do vocal fry like when I began practices. Is it normal?
Greg…. You asked be if I received your email…. I did. I tried to respond as well as use the “contact” on your website but there wasn’t a link to send you a message…. Thanks so much for EVERYTHING!!!
ua-cam.com/video/SbW3IGePp3A/v-deo.html 1:35 is considered rattle? I've been looking for this guy's vocal coordination, some compression, some epiglottis, nasality .. But how do I manage to sound in a head voice with that kind of growl? without sounding too shiny or too tight? Even imitating the typical crow I sound very bright and loud, when this singer (obviously he has practiced a lot to have that voice) has that kind of neutral rattle using some mix and head vocals .. without sounding sharp. He commonly uses a nasal voice, always between a mixed voice and a head voice, certain "cries" he does with compression (4:22) and others adding epiglottis to make it sound more rattle like in this part 5:16 ..... or 4:42 Any help on how he achieves the latter without sounding sharp and annoying? *My apologies for the long explanation is that I like to analyze this kind of worked voices*
Hello.I really like whats your goal here, that you love sharing your knowledge. But i have some things that bothers me. We need videos on your channel that are separated into some group or plan, not video from 3 hours .So better organization One thing i really need and miss here from you is how you warm up your voice everyday. But the whole program, recording your self from start till the end with all strains or whatever goes on. That would be lovely !!
@@StudioWestLessons My point was when somone enter your channel, you see a lot of clips very long. 1.No text under those clips explaining whats going on. 2.I really dont thibk anyone has time to go into video of 3 hours and spend 3 hours. Why i think you should be more on point to cut and edit those video into parts.Leaving just most importing stuffs Part 1 (this and this) Part 2 (this and this) Also on your other videos that are not lives Maybe also skiping stuffs unnecessary in edits. Have some lead Example- 1:28 breathing thrue dia...also this text underline on video edit(in descritption also or as a comment) Ext no1,no2 bla bla And your warm up video im waiting bro :) Best regrets ! I am giving you a friendly advice !!! That i miss on your channel
Greg, I would love to know the answer of this Question: Why are not you a famous singer or a regular singer with all this knowledge, skills, techniques and other things that you have? Now, I am curious...

Using an H often in your tone between the words and lyrics or whatever helps you keep the throat open
