Thank you very much. I always find putting a border along the edges a challenge, but your directions are easy to follow and will look great on my blanket. 💝
I'm working on my first baby blanket using this pattern and I'm having a blast! I can't believe how easy it is and how fast it works up. Now I can look forward to adding a beautiful border, as well. Thanks!
Tina Lucas Wonderful! Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope your blanket goes well! :-)
Thanks so much Kristen. I love that baby yarn! The blankets grow very fast , because they are so thick. Great job, on the border. :)
craftymom7 Thanks so much!

You are amazing!!!Even me understand it))))thank you so much for your work.Hope that my sweetheart will glad to her new blanket!!!
Beautiful! Saw your blanket tutorial quite a few years ago and forget how it is done for counting, so refer back to it often. Thank you so much for sharing. I have crocheted since I was a young girl but didn't know anything other than single and double crochet, so tutorials have been so helpful. I did knit also but have forgotten. Do you do knit tutorials as well? You ate a good teacher with a very soothing voice. Thanks again,
Cathy Bohn, from Washington state
You are so kind, thanks for your encouraging words 💞 I’m so glad the videos have been helpful. Yes, I do have a complete beginner knitting series I revamped last year. Here is the playlist to teach you in incremental lessons and build your pattern reading skills as you go as well. ua-cam.com/play/PLspNyS4jO47wIuuTaX6Umpstl8q3efCzb.html
This is great. Thank you. Can’t wait to see more.
Love it!!
Hi, I am making my second marshmallow baby blanket (the first one was a big hit) and I was wondering how would I put a second row for the boarder? (I want to have both the white and purple as the boarder - 1 row white and 1 purple).
Thank you in advance!
Amanda Goddard how did you end the blanket i cant figure it out
Thank you so much!
Kristen I did a single half double and double stitches with same kind of yarn do I make the border with the same stitches in the same order? Really would like your help this is my first baby blanket. Yarn was hard for me to use but the blanket is done
Kristen, i am what i consider still a beginner even though i have been crocheting for 3 yrs now, i am currently making a bernat baby blanket yarn for my first granbaby (due in march)
, i am doing a ridges stich which is the hdc in each back loop and am doing it in the sail away variagated, i want to do a border in solid white with a varigated in the middle and finish in solid white will this edging work to do this and if so how do i need to do it? thank you for your videos and any help you can give me ...missi
Thank you so much! How do I add another row of the border? Please make another video I see a lot of people asking for this! Again thank you so much I have made 6 of these blankets and my family LOVES them!
Manda Yager oh goodness I’m so sorry I missed your comment! Once you finish going round the first time just start right on the next round. You can also fasten off and weave your ends from the first and then start in the place you feel comfortable starting again like the first round of border. I hope this helps!
Thank you
Hi Kristen. I am a little confused as to how to create the border on the beginning of the blanket side as it is a whole different stitch then all other sides of the blanket. Please help. Thank you
Hi, my border will be the same colour as my marshmallow blanket - will it show up as border as I'm basically doing the same stitch as the blanket? It shows up nicely with the contrast colour. (Hope this makes sense!)
clifford grant yes that makes sense. You are doing the sales stitch but addressing the corners to make it go around. :) You can do in whatever color you like.
If u wanted to add length and width to the marshmallow blanket can u just use an endless boarder orrrr how?
Did you use a smaller hook for the border
How do you end the marshmallow blanket though
Mariah Harvey hi there! Here is the video for the main blanket and it should answer your question. ua-cam.com/video/yOPxJsIY478/v-deo.html
This was hard to watch you struggle with the doubles.. Pretty result
Shoot... need the left handed version for the marshmallow border? I'll try to figure it out🤔
