I followed the directions but forgot that I didn't have grated parmesan. I used grated sharp white cheddar instead and it came out great except it was a little salty due to the difference in cheeses and the fact that I also backed off of the cream cheese by about half. Remembering the excellent creamed spinach from a local fried chicken chain, I added a small amount of nutmeg. Next time I will salt to taste as the last step. Overall, it came out very tasty. I will be using this easy recipe again soon!
Yeah adding salt at the end can be helpful. But sometimes adding it with the ingredients can bring out the flavors all the more. Just use a small quantity first, you can always add more if needed.

I made this today and it was absolutely delicious 😋😋

Next time add lemon or something with vinegar to cut the salt and a little water
