What a fabulous project, Donna! I love that you are a technique and detail person because I am too! I hope you enjoyed the holidays and your brief break. So far this year, I have had a birthday, welcomed my first granddaughter (on my birthday!) and am currently at Disney World celebrating my grandson’s 4th birthday! As incredible as it has been, I am so excited about getting back into my craft studio and expressing my creativity! Until then, I’m crafting vicariously through you!! 😂👍🏼👏🏼😍
Hi Theresa, You got my number girl, I am so into detail. It keeps me up at night hahahaha. Yes I had a wonderful holiday. Congratulations on your granddaughter. What a birthday present. It doesn't get any better than that. They are the best little gifts from God. I have several. We received a beautiful little girl at the beginning of November. I spoil all of them rotten!!!!! I've never been to Disney World, but would love to go. It's on my bucket list. Happy crafting my friend 😊🤗

Right up my alley, teach. Just beautiful!! I have that very same trim and a ready made riser, so guess where I’m going with that? I’ll follow your great instructions, and even though I don’t have a cricket, I’m sure it’ll turn out great, thanks to you! I love rustic anything. You always inspire and encourage me to learn and excel. It’s so great that you’re eclectic and so knowledgeable, it benefits all of us!
Hi there my beautiful friend! I want to see pictures of your riser once you add the trim. I can cut out your lettering for you and mail it to you. Just let me know the wording and the dimensions you need. I don't mind doing it at all 🤗🥰 Thanks for always watching and sending me awesome messages 😊💖
@@masoncreationsetc it’ll be a little while before I get to it but will gladly send pictures and hope you’ll be proud of your student, and yourself, I’m sure. It will be the end product of your great influences and knowledge.
I completely understand. You have no idea how long the supplies for this project sat in my cabinet. A cute little baby and the holidays got in my way. hahahaha I can't wait to see it though and I'm always proud of the work you do. You're amazing! Have a good evening my friend 🥰
Hello there my friend! Thanks, so glad you like it. Thanks on the 20k. It happened because of friends like you 💖 Thank you for always being there, watching and commenting. I appreciate you and love seeing your name pop up 😊💖🤗
I’ve watched the video for the second time and learned even more. My question is about the brushes. You use a lot of glues and varnishes, as do I. How do you clean the brushes so that the bristles don’t dry hard? I’ve ruined so many brushes that hot soapy water doesn’t clean! I’ve also got to be more aware to not dip the brush in so far Into these glues, etc. The bristles never get clean and I’m left with a dried clump at the top of the brush bristles. Is there a better brush cleaner out there or a home remedy?
I feel your pain my dear friend! I use a product called Speedball brush cleaner. It works better than plain soap, but nothing on the face of the earth gets them completely clean at the very top of the bristles. I'll leave you a link. It's actually pretty good and I love it. And you are correct, try not to dip your brush too deep. They clean better when you're just cleaning the tips of the bristles. I don't buy very expensive brushes any longer. I buy them in large packs at Hobby Lobby, Michaels or Walmart. When they get bad, I just toss them! Speedball Pink Soap brush cleaner (Amazon): amzn.to/3rFzLml
