I’m really glad I just found your channel. That is a great tutorial and I just love the finished work. Wonderful. It always drives me crazy to wait so long for the embellishments to dry too 😀! This is exactly what I was looking for! I bought the boxes but could not figure out how to make them special. I am using some thick lace from my wedding dress (married in 1973) to make something special for my two daughters for Christmas.

Gorgeous! Can you use copy paper and do the same procedure?
We use iron method to avoid wrinkles on napkins. If you are using copy paper you need to soak it before gluing so I would say no you can't use the same procedure.

Hi is it ok to use mod podge instead of varnish
I don't recommend using mod podge as this is glue and varnish in one and when you close the box it will stick together.
Yes so true after a lot of hard work mine got stuck .. am unable to open the box
I live in India could you let me know what is the alternative I can use for mod podge and which varnish is good for use

I ironed on napkin with modge podge let dry and then went over with a sealer and it rinkled really bad
This means it didn't glue properly. Apply more glue and iron for longer so napkin is glued properly before varnishing.
