  • Ross Hauser, MD discusses one of his favorite sports: Golf! Did you know that men and women tend to sustain golf injuries to different parts of the body? Dr. Hauser discusses low back and pelvic area pain conditions as well as elbow pain conditions and how they often result from not warming up before playing golf and when they are chronic or progressive, it is a sign there is likely underlying joint instability. In our office, we treat these joint instability-related conditions with Prolotherapy so people get back to their favorite sport. Thanks for watching! We wish you all the best in health.

Thank you Doc i can't swing a club yet (maybe after my next couple treatments 🙏🙏) but my golfers are happy bc I can serve them way better than last summer when I struggled to serve the drinks n beer, cut up an onion for the hot dogs, wipe the counters, etc all of which I can now do symptom-free AND working 9 hr days instead of struggling to complete a 6 hr shift and haven't even wore my brace once since my last treatment 🎉🙏🙏 even my customers can see how much I've improved from last yr! Thank you so much!!!

@@user-gd6wq5eg1l sure but it is kinda a long story lol. I did not have any pain but i had very disabling neurological symptoms and stiff (but not painful) neck muscles. Doctors were just telling me I had pulled muscles and anxiety so I got worse and worse until I found Dr Hauser and my Upper Cervical chiropractor. Before finding the right doctors I had gone to the ER several times for my heart and these seizure-like episodes where one side of my body would go limp along with spasms, nausea, headache, severe shortness of breath, and difficulty getting my words out. I was also very weak, had tremors and twitching, woke up sick to my stomach and running to the bathroom every morning and my body felt so heavy. I could not lift or carry hardly anything or even walk very far, as that OR just having my head in a certain position would trigger the attacks. So I knew it was coming from my neck. After 3 months of getting my atlas adjusted I was much better but still disabled so went to Caring Medical sure enough I had Cervical Instability which was compressing my vagus nerve, jugular veins and maybe my spinal cord and my vertebral arterial flow was affected too

A frequent issue is explaining these concepts to doctors unfamiliar in this domain, do you have any suggestions on how to better communicate with a doctor so as to avoid being waived off as fussy?

This is something we hear from so many of our patients and our advice would be that you are your biggest advocate. Keep pushing and keep fighting for yourself and find a provider who will listen and have your back!

Please help, I have spent a lot of time looking for an answer, and I have not found an answer anywhere on your resources.
If there is instability in the lumbar L5-S1, when I stand straight, the vertebra is displaced backwards, when I bend backwards, the vertebra is displaced backwards, and the function of the anterior longitudinal ligament of the spine is to prevent the vertebra from being displaced backwards when I bend backwards and stand straight, how can I use prolotherapy to reach the anterior longitudinal ligament of the spine with a needle if it is in the front part of the body ? And cure her ?🥺🙏🏼❤️‍🩹
