I don't think that EP3 is stock tbh, they don't rev to 9k stock
Also consider the fact it managed to do 0-100km/h In 5.4 seconds when I stock one does it in around 7 seconds

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines, and on top of that, he just came into Harry’s and bought three T66 turbos with NOS, and a MoTec system exhaust.

The K20C spunds pretty damn good for a Turbo VTEC engine. Can easily pull 6 seconds 0-60 too if you shift correctly.

Type R lost a huge piece of its soul after switching to forced induction.
That's because forced induction makes the car faster, somehow.
You mean turbo. How about giving it a Roots or cenrtifugal SC?
@@kosztypatrik7028 roots only follows the speed of the crankshaft, but the centrifugal SC is faster
Type R was always about being the "ultimate civic". In order to keep up with the competition, it had to go forced induction otherwise it would've been easily smoked by things like the Golf R or the Focus RS. Theres only so much you can do with a naturally aspirated 2.0 4 cylinder and still keep it within regulations to sell in a variety of countries.

Just came across this video. I currently own and drive the FK2 Type R and have owned almost every generation Type R
Whoever owns this UA-cam channel clearly either simply takes the first 0-60mph they find elsewhere and use it for their video or they drove these cars and done the 0-60mph times themselves, which also shows they’re rubbish at acceleration
Almost every time in this video is off whether over or below the actual 0-60mph time
Also, no way the EP3 does 0-60mph in 5.4 seconds. It’s clearly modified and sounds modified as well
new type r fk8 does faster than 6.6 thats for sure, so does the 2023 type r. Hard to launch them
In what universe bro? The second one obviously ain’t stock, and I had an FK8, and it’s MUCH faster than 6.6, it’s low 5s if you do it right, and the new type r isn’t far behind that despite being slower in a straight line

Pmsl... love how people try to make the civics seem faster than they are.. that Ep3 was no where near stock... revvingall the way up to 9000rpm and 50mph in 1st... heavily modded there and on a slight down hill without a doubt 😂😂😂
意外にもこの対決だとEP3が1番速いことに驚き。世代が進む事に性能も上がってるし、現行で使われてるK20Cエンジンはターボ付いてるから、加速なら熟成されたFL5がかなり速いと思った。FD2に関しては同じK20Aを積んでる2ℓNAという点でも後者に分があると思ったが、やっぱり最高速度には劣っても、中低速域が強い分加速勝負なら強いんだろうな。

この動画だけ見ると、かなり乗り手に左右されたタイムだと思いますね。
EP3だけが6000手前でクラッチミートしてスタートも完璧ですから。
一応名誉のために言わせてもらうと、時代遅れとはいえEK9はこんなに遅くないですｗ（この動画のFK8ぐらいのタイムは出ます）
逆にFK8はこんなに遅くないです😅

The EP3 is modded, it starts with launch control and like said before, revs higher then the stock one. Throw in some bucks for an ECU, an exhaust en intake and you have some nice N/A fun, throw in a little more money and you have some real fun, nothing beats the K20 in my opinion

Ep3 does not do 0-60 in 5.4 seconds it’s about 220 bhp that atleast tuned it to 300-400 for it to reach the 5.4 seconds mark
