I replaced every single engine thing with new expensive parts,dissemble the engine and had carbon clean everything,and applied leather seats and carbon stickers.This car feels great as hell to drive,speedy and mighty, I'm considering tuning it to stage 1 next but I'm scared.
That 1.4i Citroen engine is an underrated gem! We've had a 1.4 saxo like that and can confirm it went like hell. The engine was just so eager and revvy!
I had the equivalent 106 1.5d as my first car followed by the 120bhp 106 gti next. Very fun little cars, at the time it felt quicker than most things on the road the reality is its probably the equivalent of a modern diesel these days 😄

@@foolishsiler_420 the 1.1 8v has perfect shifting and a good start. so i see the 11s mark is tottaly possible, even on a perfectly flat (not uphill) road.
My 1.4 75hp swapped 1.0 with a 4 speed short transmission and 6250 rmp limit can do the 0-100 in 8.9-9. It have a 50mm exhaust with one muffler and a direct air filter but running a little bit rich. Now I fitted a 5speed diesel gearbox, with it I can rev the second gear to redline and its over 100km/h before i need to shift the third but not measured the time yet. These cars are really light, the weight of mine is about 710 kg.
My buddy had saxo vts on 14’’ rims ike 20y ago, he tought he was tuff untill we fond out his 130km/h was 100km/h 🤡🤡🛴 just like most honda’s back in the days
I almost died in a saxo once , fortunately was struck on the passenger side at 30-40mph but the car compacted like a tin can . wasn't a pleasant experience that's for sure ; id be dead or paralyzed if it was the drivers side impacted

you wont gain alot of power from a 1.1L with 60hp with a tune. Maybe 5hp/6hp more

The 55hp 1.5 diesel is not in the video. I had one of those, it didn't even have a rev counter, instead there was a clock, 0-100 in a century.

The 60HP saxo is not stock. It usually does 0-100 in 14-15 seconds if not slower.
i have one and it does 0-100 in just 10-11 sec like the video showed

Even my first generation 1.1 does around 13 seconds to 100km/h.

Probably these were measured downhill or something. IT should be like 15s for 1.1, 12 for 1.4, 17 for diesel, 10 for 1.6 100hp and 8.5 for vts

Apparently the speedos on these cars are completely out and 130kmh is more like 100kmh lol

1.6 8v would've made it in sub-8s if you'd revved it out to the 7250RPM limiter. :D
I dont think that 1.6 8v can rev up to 7250rpm unless the head is changed to 16v.
