This is my worst problem with motocross, I need to get confident with air, I was fine until I had a bad crash on a table top when I was just starting out dirtbikes it was probably like 40 feet and I like flipped over and stuff and ever science i have only hit like a few big doubles after that and I don't hit any big doubles anymore, I will try following people
Last time I moved up from one jump to a bigger one, I didn't think about it so much. I just knew what a small second gear jump was like, and figured 3rd would be good and it was. Just took a couple times rolling it to get the guts to clear it
You should make more of these riding technique videos as a rider myself I really listened and what you said helps for the jumps I go for in the future so thanks bro
My home track just got a massive change, ready for the Australian national titles. Is labeled one of the best nation tracks in Australia. The new big table top is 85ish ft. Quite scary more of a twisty track than Aztec
Great breakdown and great new potential series! I'd love to see you hitting some ruts and get your input on how to approach them. Ruts basically chew me alive lmao.
At my local track in poole ky I hit a 130 foot step up on my yz250f kind of cased it the first time but other than that the jump was a lot smoother than only doing the 90 foot double
Awesome video DeeO and awesome riding! Thanks! People say that videos don't show how big jumps actually are. I've never been to Aztec but that triple looks big!
Alright what if to triple the jump it's too much to case of even try to jump a little farther im gonna get a leaky seal if I do that. It's a 140 downhill triple so what do I do to build up to triple it
Aztec looks like a pretty fun track. That case you had you can tell you were just going a little slower but you Wheelied it off like a boss. Did you get hand guards and graphics for the bike? I may be late just haven't seen it in a while. Solid video! Thanks for the tips
Building confidence is all on you. You know what your body and bike are capable of. Don't doubt yourself. And if for any reason you have ANY doubt, don't risk it. No shame in saving a section for another day.
Dylan Benzeleski Yes sir! Currently west side near Old Colorado City, soon moving up North. I would love to though, I head out to Aztec pretty often, usually on Saturdays but either day. Hit me on twitter so we can actually talk and meet up.
ReturnOfDeeO tell that to dirt works lmao it's 10x sketchier doubling a sx triple than tripling it. But casing them goes way worse haha hence why i didnt get to race one supercross this year :(
I said looks boring, not rides boring... One of my local tracks is a race track where big races are held so it is well maintaind and changed pretty much every year.
You can see the surrounding mesas and ridges. Not to mention that there are 3 other places to ride within 4 miles. Also Aztec is changed about every 3 months.
ITzOfficial bike dipped on the jump front wheel cased hands slid through and bike still had momentum and whipped them around while their hands were stuck the tracks are high voltage and switchback in PA
Seriously some of the best riding videos I've seen irl

I hope you can get your confidence back dude!
another hard one is when people try to pressure you to hit something you don't wanna hit, I hate that.
I've always told my self, if i'm gonna go for it, I'd rather over jump then under, so usually I hit it harder than I think I need to.

that triple looks so smooth, awesome stuff man
Would love to see more of these real life riding tips!

Thanks, im going to my local track next weekend and ive been wanting to hit this jump for a while it is a downhill triple
Great breakdown and great new potential series! I'd love to see you hitting some ruts and get your input on how to approach them. Ruts basically chew me alive lmao.
Subbed!, i came off a rather large table top and used the same technique to gain my confidence on it again
At my local track in poole ky I hit a 130 foot step up on my yz250f kind of cased it the first time but other than that the jump was a lot smoother than only doing the 90 foot double
The issue with the video quality going from high to low is due to UA-cam and there is nothing I can do about it, I'm sorry!
i do the same thing, like try and find out how bad the case is to build up confidence :)
Thanks Deeo, I just want to know if you can do another video just for leaning and cornering? If you could that would be great.
What do you mean man? I will if people want, just not sure what help I am lol
great vid and thanks! keep up the good work deeo!
Awesome video DeeO and awesome riding! Thanks! People say that videos don't show how big jumps actually are. I've never been to Aztec but that triple looks big!
The track owner / creator said its 115 feet - 35 meters.
ReturnOfDeeO Oh ok wow, I just said that because you said that it's not a huge jump, to me though it is haha.
Thanks really helps for my 2015 mx season bro for it🎊
Good tutorials like how to ride whoop sections
Alright what if to triple the jump it's too much to case of even try to jump a little farther im gonna get a leaky seal if I do that. It's a 140 downhill triple so what do I do to build up to triple it
is this the Aztec raceway in Colorado I go there all the time I live in Colorado
Can you do more of these
You should do more videos like this!
Any other suggestions on topics?
Like how to corner better or whoops or how to wheelie. Something like that. It would be pretty cool. Deeo's weekly tips one every week
Thanks Deeo!! This was an awesome video! Now only if I can turn better! ;)
Next time on DeeO's tips... haha jk

Noah Boudart No graphics yet, ordered them but they are not on the bike. But I did get handguards, yes!
nice!
new i noticed something different lol
ReturnOfDeeO What about hitting tt
he tripe on your YZ??
Looks clean, pretty good size jump! How many feet is it do you know? Has some nice hang time
Noah Boudart I believe the track owner said something like 115. Can't remember off the top of my head now!
jeez nice thats a solid hit! theres a table top at a track near me thats over 100 i think its like 120 or something
Good advice DeeO :)
How do I build confidence for a three double section right after sand whoops and a giant sand turn?
Building confidence is all on you. You know what your body and bike are capable of. Don't doubt yourself. And if for any reason you have ANY doubt, don't risk it. No shame in saving a section for another day.
Very good video awesome tips
You are a good rider
Nice ride!
hey just was wondering deeo what if the new jump was in the rhythm section?
Same approach. Just take it one jump in the section at a time. What sort of layout is the section?
step one. get some run ups. step two. if its a table jump it farther each time. step three. dont overthink it. thats it.
There is this pretty big tabletop at my track and I've cased hard a few times but I haven't cleared it yet. Any tips on a tabletop?
Tabletops are easy, Just hit them harder and harder lol. The worst you can do is skip off the end.
Would you say side mount on the helmet is the best mount area for the GoPro
It's personal preference, but my favorite is the proshot mount, www.ProShotCam.com
ReturnOfDeeO ok thanks I'll give it a try
I'm going to a track and there's a massive quad
You live in Colorado Springs?! I was just at Aztec last Sunday. Let's go ride sometime dude
Dylan Benzeleski Yes sir! Currently west side near Old Colorado City, soon moving up North. I would love to though, I head out to Aztec pretty often, usually on Saturdays but either day. Hit me on twitter so we can actually talk and meet up.
For sure man.ill go ride any chance I get. If you have an instagram it would be easier to talk. districtofmisery41.
It sounds bad but most of the time I just hit it slow twice then go for it lol although I took me time with my 90 footer haha
And now I watch this...
Dang could have used it a few weeks ago eh? haha
Lol I have the same gloves and mine are numbered too
on the 125 now ReturnOfDeeO
does yellow even ride
Interesting!
Im scared of being in the air so HIGH! is it scary or you just dont think about it?
Don't really think about it man! Just build up so you continually get used to more and more air
Thanks DeeO!
the jump i am trying is a triple but you cant double because they landing is to steep
Well that's a dumb design.
its a brilliant track tho
ReturnOfDeeO tell that to dirt works lmao it's 10x sketchier doubling a sx triple than tripling it. But casing them goes way worse haha hence why i didnt get to race one supercross this year :(
Aztec looks boring with no tree or anything, still probably alot of fun to ride. I have 5 local tracks, is that alot?
Welcome to the Eastern Plains.
Aztec is awesome. Just because there's no trees doesn't make it a boring track. Not to mention it's one of the best maintained tracks in the state.
I said looks boring, not rides boring... One of my local tracks is a race track where big races are held so it is well maintaind and changed pretty much every year.

Still looks boring
deo running the hand guards
you know!
Swag hands;)
his gloves say 991
How to Get bigger Whips ?
I'm not good at whips so... haha
Awe well how about getting a whip
Lol case a jump no problem pop a wheelie like a boss
Gotta act like nothing happened haha
Haha, '' In case if you case it'' xD
I couldn't hit the triple on my 85. It's pretty much impossible (for me).
Absolutely not. MX Nation cased the hell out of it on a 250F lol
I'd pay you to get on my bike and try. I know you'd have comedy gold and lots of medical expenses.
BlakePlays I wouldn't even want to on my 125 lol
ReturnOfDeeO I guarantee you Adam Cianciarulo back on his kx112 could kill it aha.
I could clear it. In a Flight for Life Helicopter.
You need to take the hand gaurds off so many people at my track have got their wrists stuck and they get broken
Or nah.
ReturnOfDeeO Those people that get their wrists stuck are what I like to call, Squids.
Quager we've had b class riders break them on our table
how do they get there wrists stuck and where on the guards and aslo wheres that track
ITzOfficial bike dipped on the jump front wheel cased hands slid through and bike still had momentum and whipped them around while their hands were stuck the tracks are high voltage and switchback in PA
i built up to a double and broke my leg :/ bruised a kidney :0 and got a concussion D;
unban me from twitch chat
Your riding style is wiered
Your spelling style is weird.
