- Two of the most popular questions I get are 1) How do you buy Wholesale and 2) Can I buy fireworks online! In this video, I'll answer both and show you an option to buy wholesale fireworks online and have them shipped to your door (legally/unless you live in a state that sucks)! We will be using American Wholesale Fireworks for this demonstration, and it's important to note that the earlier you buy, the better! Most vendors have deals in the Winter to early Spring months as well as have the most inventory on hand during those times.

A few things to note!
1) It is past the shipping deadline to get product before July 4th. However, I'm told there are more containers arriving in July for anyone look to buy for Labor day or NYE.
2) Pricing might be different than what you see on my account due to volume discounts. More information on that can be found under the 'Bulk Discounts' tab on their website.

Bought my show through them before Easter. Supply is crazy this year, in that most of my order has been out of stock since about a week after it shipped. Due to low trees on my residential street, the FedEx driver couldn't get to my house. Bought him some Gatorade and met him a mile away. Got to talk to Sabrina and John a few times, so 10/10, will buy from them again.

It's important to note, you have to be able to accept a truck delivery. Otherwise, you'll need to pickup from the truck depot. Which will effect the shipping cost. And they usually call you to confirm.
You are correct. A Business or a Terminal is cheaper than Residential.

For comparison, a case of laser lemon is showing $111.50 for me while it looks like you snagged them for $71.36 :') Granted it's super late into the season and everything's wonky this year

I bought a case of the critical acclaim this year, I shot off a sleeve of 8. The first 4 all seemed to be comet with a little mine effect on a couple. The final three numbered 6-8 were more of a strictly mine effect.
That is good to know! I am planning on dropping some of these in my finale racks this year, but will save one kit for an individual video too.

Fun video Joel. I live in OH and AWF is about a 2 hour drive for me - which is nice because the minimum $ amount for a pick-up order is just $200. Shipping in/into OH is not allowed per State law (largely to protect Phantom Fireworks' pricing from outside mail order competition but also some safety issues). I tend to split my pyro spending between both Phantom and AWF. At least in OH, you can do some real damage at Phantom if you target some of their email coupon sales - which are fairly common here and take off as much as 70%. That said, AWF is my "go to" seller. Great people to work with and superb customer service. Also, subscribe to their email list. They tend to run alot of coupon code sales from fall to spring with order discounts ranging from 10-20% off their already great pricing.
This was my first year doing wholesale. I found a wholesaler an hour away from me with a $100 minimum and they sell by case or piece. Being that close, I can save the shipping and just pick up my order. I will definitely be ordering from then again next year. They saved me 40-50% off retail.

@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics I first thought it seemed to good to be true, but since they have a pay cash at pickup option I gave them a try. They're legit. I just picked up my second order from them 2 weeks ago. Their inventory is pretty depleted right now though, about a 10th of what they had 2 months ago.

I'm fortunate enough to only live 3 hours away from the fireworks superstore in Hannibal, MO I love making the yearly drive out there for the 4th of July. Not exactly wholesale but much better pricing than the local tents here in KC plus a massive selection of literally everything and a clearance section bigger than some of the tents here.
Oh yeah, I feel you there! His prices are not too far over wholesale anyway and you just have such a massive assortment of product it's wild. I'm within 2 hours of the store also.

It’s a great option usually, but the place I ordered from before the 4th this year is considerably higher now. I was hoping more containers arriving with less demand after the 4th would drop prices, but apparently companies are still struggling to get product. This is a bad time for us junkies.

How can i have a pallet delivered to my house here in California without getting in some sort of trouble is that possible.
California does not allow fireworks to be shipped there. Shipping to a neighbor state to go pick up is a different story though.
That's not possible. I don't think any shipping company will accept anything thats flammable or explosive, even USPS don't. The only way to get fireworks is to drive out of state and get them. A lot of Californians drive out to NV, AZ, and even Mexico to get the good fireworks. But I may warn you that it's still a bit risky cuz cops are on the lookout for smugglers.

I live in SC, but have been purchasing from AWF for the past few years. They simply offer a great selection, prices are FANTASTIC (when you move up tiers), and never an issue with my orders.

I'm not aware of any online wholesalers that sell OLs or salutes. Most people do not advertise them like that if they do have them. Wish I could be more help!
You ain't kidding when you said the price on Excalibur went up. Got the platinum kit and the growler kit yesterday $99.88 each with tax was like $237 bucks. Pricy but still couldn't say no to Excalibur platinums and growlers. Both awesome 5" canister shells with hdpe tubes

There are a lot of those options out there. I'm going to explore some more options and hopefully have more videos like this one in the future. I do really like ordering from American though, especially when they still have inventory and you can get a wide selection of consumer product, plus pro line.

@@kenyattapowell2212 There is the option for home delivery based on what state you live in. It does cost more to have it delivered to a residence. Your neighborhood needs to be easy for a Semi Truck to get in and out of also. Most people ship to a business or pick up at a local freight terminal to avoid the extra costs.

The price difference could be part of their volume discount program. Keep an eye out on their website as they will run promotions from time to time. Normally a lot of the wholesalers have early bird deals in like Jan-Feb.
They're going to be getting a lot more business from Washington State in the future. Last New years I got a kit of Vibraniums from a stand on the Rez and it was $90. Know what they're charging now? $250. Excal Platinums $200. Regular excals $150. Even with the shipping it's cheaper to order from American. Good call on the Waterfall.

There is also New law in Washington State where you can't order fireworks online shipped to home or business.
In my opinion for 2021, a good retail price on shell kits is $100 or less. Just about everywhere has their prices up. But, there are still some places that are still rocking 2020 prices like the Firework Superstore still has Excals for $60 retail.

Good deals for sure, but the shipping costs can really eat into the savings. Gotta pay for convenience, though
Yeah, it's really not bad especially when you're already dropping over 1k. You can fit a ton on one pallet, so I could have probably ordered up to 3k for the same shipping rate. I'm hoping to get in on some group buys in the future so that we can just split any of those costs as well.
Do you need a wholesales permit or license in order to buy this way or just buy online. Not sure how the discounts work so that's why I ask. Want to buy some item just for person use with the kids so need to know it this is the way to go and how to go about it...

You do not need any license to buy wholesale. If you were looking for 1.4 Pro or 1.3 you would need additional license/certifications. As long as you can ship the product to your location, you can order online. I always recommend checking your local laws too. If you cannot ship to your home, you can also ship to a local distribution center and pick up from there.
I'm live in Texas and I just came across your videos. Would you know if I need some type of permite to buy? And can I buy throughout the year?
This website will sell throughout the year and does ship to Texas. You might want to check your local laws to see what they allow as I know it can vary depending on where you are at and the time of the year.

That depends on how much supplies they got in advance. I would think they would have a shortage, but depending on the supplier, they might have accounted for your state already.

This video made me chuckle. These are not wholesale. In some cases, they charge more than common resale depending on your local market. I am an actual fireworks retailer in Texas. If you want REAL wholesale prices you will need a few relatively simple things to get started. Often there is 500-1000 minimum purchase requirements. Maybe Ill make a video on how I supply my locations with products.
I'd love to hear more! Throw out some comparison numbers for us to look at.

The more you spend, the better price you will get. They have several tiers for price breaks. They have had deals in the past where they lower the order minimum or offer other discounts, so if you're interested, you can sign up for their email list and see what they offer in the future. I normally tell people to look at buying in the early Winter months as that is normally when most wholesalers have early bird deals.

So anyone can buy ? And they deliver to your door? I live in Colorado, just wanted to see how it works. Every year my group of friends pitch in and we spend about $3,000 at the store but get no where near what we could get wholesale.
Yep! They do have to verify your address for delivery, but if there are issues you an also have it delivered to the nearest hub and you an go pick it up.

I buy from red apple,overstock central fireworks,captain boom,they all offer shipping deals,red Apple dosent have free shipping but does a deal when you buy 1000$ worth of fireworks.
Yeah most have their own way of trying to get you to spend a bit more in order to get some additional perks. Early bird deals are where it's at (like Jan-Feb wholesale).
I bought in mid may,prices were nice. I heard there was a nation wide shortage due to shipping delays,I also heard there is a new 7 inch canister shell out

I can understand that. Not sure what you have to spend to get there. I get wholesale pricing from another company. I walked in the door and spent 1k + and got their best pricing. Over the last 4 year's we average several thousand a year..

Can fireworks be imported from China? or is there a bunch of rules associated with this, thanks.
Fireworks can definitely be imported from China, however, you have to purchase an entire container and most places don't give you much of a variety. For example, depending on what you are ordering, containers hold 750-1000 cases of product. Some suppliers we get 10 different items for that, there are a few suppliers that will allow us smaller case counts for more of a variety. Now you have to pay for shipping that container. Currently shipping is at $40K and they want that upfront. Also, they want 20% off the product paid for upfront too, then the next 30% when it hits the water and the last 50% when it hits your door step. Now if there are any hang ups at all at the docks state side, there will be extra fee's associated, and this happens often! So yes, it can be done but it's costly if you are trying to do it personally.
How does a normal person buy whole sale what do ya gotta have to get it
Check their shipping page to make sure you are in a state that can receive fireworks. Check your local and state laws to make sure you can have them. Create an account, add items to your cart, check out! They will have to verify your shipping address. Now if there is an issue getting to your house, they can always ship to a distribution center close by for pickup too.
It looks like you have a 36% discount. What requirements must be met to achieve that discount- it’s beyond platinum, which is 20%. Keep up the great work, subscribed!

Is the price in “red” your applied discount for being a VIP member based on your previous purchases? I just created an account. For example, those Mercurial Bee only shows me the $6.00 price where as yours was slashed from the original price and shown in red.

I was wondering where I could get the fireworks shipped to me? It's only legal in the city next to me and I don't own a business there or have a residence to be delivered to.
You could always have them shipped to the distribution center and then pick them up. Assuming they are legal to ship to your state etc.

Dude what state do you live in, i wanna live in a state allows me to buy any/most fireworks and shot them year round.
Midwest! Most of the states out this way are pretty open to fireworks.

No, their cutoff was a few days ago for shipping unfortunately. I originally recorded this on the 6/12 and was hoping to get it out sooner so more could order.

They don't check every package, so a small package like that could easily make it. Not saying you should do that, but that does make sense.

Depends how far away you are from the shipper. It took two days to leave their facility and get to me.

I wanted to note just for peace of mind. If you plan on a stash like this. Please please please invest in a good shed or something outside. So if something happens your home insurance won't give you any smoke!

You can find a bunch if you Google "wholesale fireworks". I actually highly recommend American though for the following reasons; easy online shopping experience, buying by the case or the piece (some places only do by the case), low minimums, reasonable shipping costs, and great product selection.
