We have no idea what the punishment could even be for City so why is Gab on his second show downplaying what he can and cannot see as if we have precedent for this? English clubs have banned owners for one instance of agent fees or relegated clubs for one instance of ffp breach similar to this (down two divisions) but City is literally 50x worse and all Gab can see is a points deduction this season? 4 years of work and City fighting it all the way for a one season points deduction?
Absolute madness Gab
Kick them down to League 2 at best which has a hard wage cap and see City try to work their way up from that. Obviously you ban the owners from English football as well
Everyone is in bed with the filthy money including Gab! Don't expect a big penalty sadly. The game is corrupt.

Yeah, as if Haaland's wages are chump change....blind Freddy can connect the dots.
Bald headed liar = pep fraudiola 💯😂
Pep is a self obsessed narcissist and completely overrated. In my book he's a fraud. Successful only because he managed the strongest, most talented and richest clubs which were tailor-made environments for instant success. Unlike a manager like Klopp for example and Xavi who have had to rebuild struggling clubs and work with much less.
Pep first ever job was when he walked into a generational Barcelona side on the basis of being a former player and involved with La Masia. It was the PERFECT scenario and environment handed to him without having to earn his stripes first. It was a team which had ALREADY steamrolled Europe and won UCL and La Liga under Ryijkaard. Containing prime Messi, prime Xavi and Iniesta, Henry, Etoo, Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldihno, Puyol, Marquez...So on and so forth. They also had the core of the Spanish national team which was one of the greatest and most successful national teams in history. There are 50 other managers that could have won major titles with those ingredients.
Then he ran off to Bayern afterwards. Right after they just won a treble lol See the pattern here? Goofyiola arrived at yet another juggernaut where he basically had it made and had it set in terms of players, talent, team potential, etc.
After Bayern he ran to Man City...At the time the richest club in England, and one which ALREADY won Premier League titles under Mancini. No lie Fraudiola should have at least 5 UCL victories considering the clubs he has managed. Every single season his team is rated AT LEAST top 5 in Europe. Usually top 3.
Even Chelsea followed ffp 😂
Please drop them to league two x🎉

Club..
@@mesbahulhoda9539 I'm not going to go all the way back, but just recently they bought Grealish for 120 million pounds just for the sake of it. Everyone's talking about Chelsea now, but City spent more than 300 million during the 2017-18 season to bring the likes of Bernardo Silva, Ederson, Walker and Laporte! And that's when the transfers fees weren't so absurd as today. Unlimited funds and cooking the books equals 6 premier league's when you previously had none

Melbourne Storm in Australia had two premierships wiped.
The NRL is an equality based competition compared to European football. No comparison IMO.
So did Juventus and Rangers.
@@dariusrana8487 Doesn't matter at all when you look at what happened to Juventus and Rangers.
If not punished then it opens up grounds for teams to cheat
They've been able to achieve six out of the last ten premier leagues with 113 breaches. If the league isn't considering removing titles, you have to question the governing bodies ability to run the competition. They haven't co-operated for five years ... who else gets away with that?
Craig: if you finish 2nd you finish 2nd ... listen context is 9/10's of the law. The Reds finished only a point behind them last year. It's making a mockery of the EPL if they keep their titles, especially given they that denied and tried to hide things (for years). Alot of people would be turned off the game.
You’re talking BS Craig…
It's wrong because those medals are ultimately given to the players who had to put in a level of performance regardless of how many financial breaches the owners have made or not. You've got to sanction the punishment in such a way that it hurts the owners and not the players who gave it all to win it.
Exactly. Craig's take is just stupid. Case in point, Man City pulled Nasri and Clichy away from Arsenal at arguably their peak and won the title with those players. They basically weakened a rival through financial doping. Now, no one is saying that Arsenal would have won the league but to say that the people that finished second simply finished second when the top team is on a financial "super soldier serum" is completely stupid. The only sport people can even make that silly argument is in football.
first off all they only went back to as far as the 2017/2018 season meaning so already 3-4 of them arent in scope of the sanctions second of all the amount of lawsuits would come of it by this i mean how many sponsorships or deals or income did clubs miss by this if you deduct points of city. it would be straightup mess for the pl with half the league suiing them. it would be a lawyers paradise.
second of some of the charges are kinda stupid i mean they have 5 charges of where the grass was to long on there pitch.... now if you want to punish and actually punish its pretty much a forced sale of the club that way you dont punish the fans or the players because they didnt cook the books but you punish the sport washing machine thats behind the club. because any other punishment is going to be issue going forward because these are stupididly rich people who litteraly make a super league or a alternative league in wich they remove relegation to get american owners on board. so i think a forced sale of the club is the best action that way you get them out of the PL entirely

Nah not this time. 100+ beaches is insane and no other club has ever done similar. They’ve run outta luck
I think the best solution, if City are found guilty of course, remove ownership from the Sheikh, sell the club to another buyer, and distribute the profits fairly to all of the other premier league teams. Perhaps a point deduction so a current owner still has an incentive to purchase the club. And this could be controversial but allow the team to maintain the trophies they’ve won because the players were not involved in the corruption, nor was pep.

1 point deduction for every offence - so if they are guilty of 80 of the offences, then -80 points this season, and welcome to the Championship!
Better deduct the points from all seasons they cheated in, then they lose every single title they've "won", a few of those seasons they won by like 1 point and even on goal difference, so yeah won't take many point deductions to strip their titles lol.
My big question is will haaland leave man city for real madrid next season ???

What could be possible circumstances if they are found guilty?
Regulate them to League 2
City will just hire the best lawyers in the world, find a loophole somewhere and get away with a slap on the wrist...
If City gets away with this, the rest of the clubs will just borrow their lawyers and start breaking the rules nonstop. The PL's rules won't matter and they'll deserve it!
A 20 point deduction seems fit
Only if for every season they were in breach, and they pay back the excess prize money they received per season according to the revised league position.
Even then, the executives involved need to be banned for life to avoid a repeat

Anybody who thinks they aren't guilty is a city fan . So there are about 20 thousand believers out there .. cooking the books along time.
It was clearly obvious with the salaries and such no way they balanced anything. Only reason they sold players this year was to try and cover it up.

The 1,000 or so city fans worldwide must be heartbroken!
995 have now left to support Arsenal

If guilty, should be stripped of all titles during the time these things occurred.
I don’t like the idea of stripping past titles. The players won those titles, and they didn’t have anything to do with City’s financial dealings. Plus, it doesn’t sound very fulfilling (except to Jose) to win a title retroactively. Imagine if that Aguero goal became meaningless. Any punishment should affect their future rather than their past.
Not how it works. It all trickles down, the money still influences the players they can buy and influences the football.
The players who won those titles knew City had this noise about the legitimacy of sponsorships over this time period, and in that circumstance chose to play for a club knowing this, besides which I strongly suspect if this was how they were doing things then players, agents, managers (could be a few only, could be many of them) who played from them probably saw benefits that weren't declared, and were complicit in the whole issue.
The title is based on being able outspend their opponents in an era where other teams who play by the rules had to limit spending, so all those players were in squads with more talent where other teams playing by the rules probably would have been able sign more, including players who ended up at city if city were being limited the same way.
Teams and players who didn't get that advantage whose teams played by the rules deserve it more than them even if you go with the circumstances the city players themselves did nothing wrong. I also don't think players who came close to a title in that era will say no to being awarded it because its unfulfilling.
All this is based on the assumption this has evidence behind it. And some evidence could be more damning. If they were paying players off books, not just inflating sponsorship then they deserve everything thrown at them. If it comes down to just inflated sponsorship a lot depends on how far off the scale of reasonable the sponsorships were for me.
That’s not the point. City should not have had the players they had on the large wages they had in the first place. This obviously then impacts every other team in the league.
Lol whats the use of title when the players even would not have played because those players were signed in a dodgy way
Stripping them allllllllllllll... 😂😂😂😂😂... No 2 club from that years win it...
