I saw him this past Saturday, April 13, at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. It was phenomenal! I forgot it was cold and rainy. Peter Frampton remains one the GOATS. My 60 year old eyes saw him with the love and heart of a 13 y/o, so, so many years ago. ❤
46 yrs ago i was right up to the stage, him singing this maybe 20 feet away, im 15 qent to Colt Park, Hartford with older guys i worked with .i lost them, found my way through bodys 600 feet deep, cluthing my ine joint in my shorts pocket, heart racing, seeing tents on yhe perimeter for over do doses, saw ppl laying on cots with paramedics..im at least 2 football fields away, nervous as i xome up on a thickening xroud of seems ngly older ppl theni see a oersonlaying on the ground and pole not even noticing, i step over him, the stage is about 12 feet off the bround, im getting xloser saying, " excuse me " hundreds of times, my first cincert in a big city, as im a country boy feomNH and i can feel the awesome vibe of just ppl, some music is olaying i er speakers, there it is in front if me, a plywood wall about 5 ft tall a barrier with security a 8 foot non oaeeson gap and the stage...the noise is soooo loed just feom the pppl behind me, about 10,000 ..then ammoke/fog arises feomthe middle if the atage and a small floor rises feom the floor like a.oltfoem.elevator..very foggy, a.manin rwd jump suit sitting playin a grand piano or organ..and hes singing and playing " Dream Weaver" i know that song from the radio and our juke bix at s 7:37 school, ppl behind me are goung wild my ears are hurting. Eventually Garys gone and Peyer runs out in a jump suit slips and falls off stage right in front if me..." Whow" s curity throws him back on stage, he ripped the oants part if suit..he runs back stage, 4 minutes later he runs out qith full band and Bib Mayo on the key boards Bib Mayo..and jumps right into, " You know it my year....." First concert, set the level of music iadore and helps me be living in this world and in my skin..Dave❤️

Saw that Tour in ‘77 (St. Louis Kiel). Amazing show. I was 15. Had to buy my older brother his ticket just to get a ride. He didn’t want to go but to this day we both share to each other an amazing show. And this song is still my favorite to play off original ‘76 Vinyl. Frampton Forever. 🎸🙏🏼

Almost entirely sold out The Masonic 2 weeks ago now & was seated for the entire 2.5 - ±3 hours. He was great & at the end of that great show w/a nice screen & light show as well - he said "I'm going to beat this thing with my leg!" to great applause. There aren't many strong Rock Guitar Players from that same era touring. We, from the DC area, never heard a lot of great (& not so good) artists until the 'LIVE!' LPs were released: for example: ", Bob Marley/Wailers, Foghat, The Pie, etc. DC could barely keep a football team in biz & 1 major paper (Freedom FROM the press?), No Baseball for a long time after the Senators. Now a team that was going to be, printed Bball cards & never played a game! A class act only missing Bob Mayo's keys.
As fluent as he can be this man will always remain a pillar of Rock Music forever. He can make Camels fly. Once again this video has exceptional quality and represents true live sound that the Masters intended.
